Oedipus Complex

Whether it's justifiable or utterly blasphemous, I am convinced that the Oedipus complex is mostly a misdeed and something that only mental people commit. As it was said, the Oedipus complex is the psychology of the affinity of a person with their parent of the opposite sex whilst seeing the parent of the same sex as a competition or rival. When an individual is at the age where they are prudent with every circumstance and decision, perhaps when they're in the teenage or adult state, it is abysmally impermissible to have an obsessive infatuation with their parent. It is a sin and having an epiphany that they're either romantically or sexually attracted to their blood and flesh is disturbing. However, if it's a child that involves in this case, I am convinced that it's normal as they don't have the right apprehension to think of the situation decently. They should be taught, though, as when they get older and the akin perspective remains, who knows what barbaric consequences this could result.
