I made my decsion that she deserves to be told that I know the woman who claims to be Henrys mother because she deserves to know. I call her and say "We need to talk about my past and where I came from. Who my parents are. Who my family is."
She says ok to this and I begin by saying "Well Henry thinks i'm Ursulas daughter so I guess thats something. But I don't know my parents at all because I was in foster care. And I have not had any contact with my family, I don't know who my family is." I pause for a minute and say "Regina I have to tell you the truth. I know Emma, because we were in foster care together. She was like my family for 14 years of my life. The only family I had." Regina had gone awfully quiet then said through sniffles "So you were living with the person who is claiming to be my son's mother and she was like family to you and she doesn't know you know her."
I reply "Yes that's exactly what i'm saying. Look i'm sorry Regina."
She tells me "Why are you sorry you should blame the people who put you and Emma in the system."
I paused for a minute and then said "Yeah I guess it is."
