A WEEK HAD WENT BY AND VALERIA was still unconscious, word had spread about her act of walking out of a burned down building that was set on fire; unburnt. The realm grew fearful for their Kingdom's safety from the young girl, but that was all shut down once the King had done a sentimental speech on the young Princess, he'd claimed that she was a Dragonborn and that she deserved to be treated with respect. Yet, the family was scared for their kin, they'd asked Viserys about it and he ended up telling the tale about Dragonborn's and how rare they were.

Everyone had been in and out of Rhaenyra and Laenor's chambers where the young Princess lay in a thin layer of quilt, Maesters had thought it would be best to keep her cool as her temperature seemed to change a lot. Her appearance had also changed ever so slightly; her left cheek, arms, chest, hips and legs had scales. They matched the colour of her skin yet they had a small tinge of golf at the tips, her ears were slightly pointed and the Maesters were afraid that her once violet eyes were now gold.

Rhaenyra and the King had hardly left her side always whispering some sort of meaningless words to send her comfort hoping one day she would wake. The two hardly let anyone in except for the Maesters, Rhaenyra was bombarded by her younger siblings who were eagerly wanting to see their Niece, she had to send them on their way claiming that it would not be a good idea, and maybe wait until she's awake and ready.

The woman grew more protective over her daughter, she thought she'd lost her miracle baby that almost died as soon as she was birthed. She could still remember that day, she didn't want to go through any of that ever again. Though, it had amazed everyone greatly when they watched her come walking out of the house that was now covered with ash, she remembered when her daughter fell to her knees and stared at them all with big glowing eyes, and remembered when Laenor rushed to his daughter wrapping her naked body in his cloak. Maesters were burnt when they tried to touch her, the midwives that helped her with her children had helped bathe her and wipe all the ash and soot from her.

The week had been stressful for everyone, the castle was more silent than ever, and the realm started lighting candles outside the castle praying and wishing well for the Princess' recovery. The past days for the family were going far too slow and some prayed to the Seven to help keep the girl alive.

The week nearly turned into two if it had not been for Valeria groaning softly causing the Maester who was checking over her to suddenly stare her down, he watched as her eyes flickered, and it was as if he just snapped back into reality, he called for the guards to collect her parents shouting that she's waking up.

Moments later, the doors to the chambers were slammed open by a panicked Rhaenyra followed by the King and Laenor, the rest of the family were waiting outside after the guards blocked their way. The three adults had rushed over to the bed and waited for a while, they listened to her whimper as she slowly opened her eyes. Her golden eyes bore back into theirs, they all gave her a smile and watched as she gave a tired one back, "hi," she whispers.
