With your claymore nonchalantly swung over your shoulder, you keep a stern watch over the millelith, keeping an eye on their training for the day.

It's not everyday that you decide to associate yourself with humans, but since you're now the one in charge of the soldiers in Liyue, you decided that it's good for you to make sure that the humans who volunteered to join would be competent enough to protect their fellow brethren and so that they'll be prepared for another war.

You don't want to have a repeat of what happened in the chasm, especially now since the chasm has now been added to your patrol area after Bosacius' disappearance.

There is no time for slack. Everyone must remain vigilant in their training, no matter how peaceful it may seem now. Who knows, another cataclysm might happen once more which means that you will need to be ready to defend Liyue with your fellow warriors.

"That is enough training for now. The injured may now recuperate as for the rest, get ready for the patrol in the chasm later tonight. You are dismissed." Watching them all walk off, you take this opportunity to warm up, swiftly swinging the claymore beside you, twirling it around your wrist before catching it by its hilt.

Eyeing the training dummies in the middle of the training grounds, you test the weight of your claymore before confidently throwing the blade towards the dummies, the heaviness of the weapon making it twirl mid-air before ultimately slashing up all 5 dummies. Before it can go too far, you reach out your hand, a long vine shooting out from your palm, the plant quickly catching up with the claymore and encircling itself around the hilt to which you immediately grasp the vine and give it an abrupt tug which sends the weapon flying towards you.

Effortlessly catching it, you're about to do the same with the other set of dummies on the other side of the training ground but are interrupted by something tugging within your gut. It's subtle, you would've brushed it off if it wasn't something that you're constantly on alert for.

Usually, you'd think that it's another one of the humans attending your temple, talking to the statue that they had erected there while offering you meaningless gifts to show their usual gratitude. But this time, you know that this is something else. Something much more important. The tugging is too incessant for it to be another one of the humans asking for protection.

No.

Someone must be calling for you.

You'd think that it was Morax asking for assistance but the tugging is different. It isn't one strong tug. No, this one is far too unsure. Uncertain if they should call for you or not.

Perhaps it is Kunikuzushi?

Is he... in trouble?

The thought puts you on higher alert, the grip on your claymore getting tighter as you prepare yourself to teleport to where the tugging leads you. But before you can even do such a thing, a figure appears before you.

Alatus.

"Where are you heading?" He asks you, sensing the particles around you move, just about preparing to disappear. He takes off his mask, continuing to stare for only a second as you summon your own mask, preparing for what you may encounter once you appear before the Electro Archon's puppet.

"Someone is calling my name, I will be back as soon as I can."

Without much explanation, you disappear, letting the tug in your gut lead you to where you should be.

~~~~~
It had been a weary day.
Though it was much like the rest of the days that he had spent in Inazuma, it was particularly difficult today since it has been weeks since your departure from the country. Kunikuzushi has done everything he could to distract himself from yearning for your presence once more.
