"On your knees!!!"
They knelt in mute obedience
"WHERE IS SHE?!"
The voices shrieked in endless pain. A black mass pushed itself like a cloud towards the kneeling people, electric lightning shot out of it, hands formed – clawing, searching and consuming.
"We don't know yet, we…" a female voice rose, but was drowned out by a sharp pain that ripped through her body. She gasped and braced herself on the dusty ground with her hands. The black lightning bolts crawled in her direction.
"YOU DO NOT KNOW?"
"But!" she cried, her voice trembling, getting back on her knees. “But we think someone else seems to be looking for her too! A young journalist… she is…”
“FIND HER OR…!”
The group got up, startled, trying helplessly to fend off the blackness that was coming at them, the hands reaching into them. Everything went black.
