Xisuma-pov
It was a peaceful day in Hermitcraft. The hermits were only 2 weeks in season 7 and their bases were magnificent! Everyone was happy, and Xisuma was just checking on the code when an error occurred. Checking the error he found a rather strange message or mabye a riddle?
"Find the one who hides in red"
"But doesn't like the sea"
"Cause of a past trapped inside a place"
"With murders happening every day"
"They like to prank,"
"They like to steal"
"The one meant to watch and not protect"
"Will be the child of sun"
"Born with the heart of the world"
Xisuma frowned, pivoting around to look for the cause of the strange glitch. The valley was completely empty. An eery silence seemed to envelope the chasm of reality, but Xisuma shook his head quickly. He must be imagining things, but it almost felt like he was being watched...
Grian-pov
I had gone to the shopping district with Mumbo and Scar to get some building supplies for a new big project. It had been a long time since the district was so crowded. There was a line at Tango's Nether Shop, Etho was restoking his ice shop and the sky was clear. Nothing could go wrong today... Then a message from Xisuma...
<XisumaVoid> Server meeting at town hall in 20 minutes. Important!!!
My eyes flitted down to the message, widening slightly. I couldn't remember the last time there was a server meeting. Was it way back at the start of the season when we had the lag issues? I'm not sure. We hadn't had any glitch issues recently, so I was completely lost to the cause for such an urgent meeting. It seemed some of the hermits were lost too, because Etho landed rather ungracefully next to me. He looked confused.
"Hey Etho" I said "Do you have an idea what the meeting is about because im sure most of us are puzzled" I asked him because he could know something or he could have an idea on what the meeting is about . "Sorry G man but I don't know anything im just as confused as you are" he replied waiting for the other hermits to also come so the meeting could start.
After most of the hermits came asking what happened X-eye-zuma interrupted us and said the following lines " I found a riddle after fixing the error in the code and I wanted to discuss this here so we could find to who this riddle is referring to because they could be a threat" I felt caught off guard like I knew what was going to happen but I wasn't sure ,then X-eye-zuma spoke again "The riddle says:
*Find the one who hides in red,
But doesn't like the sea,
Cause of a past trapped inside a place,
With murders happening every day,
They like to prank
They like to steal,
The one meant to watch and not protect,
Will be the child of the sun,
Born with the heart of the world*"
I exchange looks with the surrounding hermits. They all look as confused as I do. The strangest thing is, it sounded familiar... I shake my head, because it's impossible... at least the feeling of being watched has vanished. I'm so lost in my speculations I don't realize Xisuma is right behind before I feel a tap on my shoulder and whirl around. My eyes squint as I analyze what Xisuma is about to say.
