Never complain, never explain

A little backstory about me I was born on the 8th of April in 2004, to my parents William and Mary Burkes, my full name, Josephine Elizabeth Mary Diana, Josephine belonged to me there others not so much, together we lived for a year before my parents decided to separate. At the time they'd only been married for two years, and they separated because of their differences, but everyone knows they married just so that I could be legitimised and I think now dad regrets it, if he had just claimed me as his bastard child I wouldn't cause him half the problems I did.

My mother moved to the states after the divorce, where she went on to pursue a career in music and it succeeded she became one of the household names in the music industry, winning awards and performing at prestigious events. She married her husband, Steven in 2010 I was of course a part of the very private intimate wedding. I think a small part of me thought she'd be coming back to England but no they stayed in the state where they had their first daughter  in 2012 Florence 'Flo' and then in 2017 she gave birth to the twins, Genevieve 'Jennie' and Gabriel 'Gabi'. That was her little perfect family, with me awkwardly in the sidelines, since she only came to Britain once in a blue moon and I never really liked the states, you could say it's because it took my mom away from me.

And then we have my father, William, I mean you probably think he stepped up for his daughter, but no he went back to his partying ways with the love of his life Catherine Middleton and the family he never had, aka the Middletons, saw him every trooping, at balmoral and Christmas, more than I saw Mary, and we know his story, married Kate in 2011, had George, Charlotte and Louis and there was me, awkwardly in the sidelines.

Now there's me raised by my great grandparents and although they were old and not that energetic, they still showered me with love. I mean who am I joking they spoiled me to the moon and back, but I was also a sheltered child, I was homeschooled until I was ten then I was bumped up a grade or two because my tutors, bless their hearts, were way ahead of the syllabus they were teaching me stuff no six year old should have been learning and I don't mean sex ed, just with mathematics and physics, so I spent those first few years at Buckingham. Then I went to a school in London, where I met my two best friends, Savannah and Abilene we moved on to Wellington College all three of us, where we were day scholars for the first year and then moved to boarding, I guess you could say I was a gifted scholar, I was part of the gymnastics team, did hockey and netball, also tried a bit of athletics was one of the leaders, and of course the academic parts and I enjoyed all of it, I enjoyed seeing my great grandparents cheer for me on the stands as people looked shocked to see the queen at a school event. I graduated top of my class in 2020 at the age of sixteen and I know I was a bit young, and then moved on to the royal military academy and yes I used my royal connections to get in earlier but I was good, I didn't need to be spoon fed, it's just they had a age restriction and I was bit too young. My dream was for my great grandfather to see me graduate and he did, my birthday and graduation where some of my last memories with him and I will forever cherish those.
