I was running, I don't know why but I ran.

I looked around and noticed how I was running in a forest of some sort.

I hid behind a large tree and waited for whatever got me running to leave.

I heard crunching footsteps approaching nearby until it stopped.

"(𝔜/𝔫), 𝔴𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔯𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲, 𝔰𝔱𝔞𝔯𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱?" A voice called out.

'𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔯𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱? 𝔐𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔎𝔦𝔯𝔲𝔫𝔞 𝔫𝔢𝔳𝔢𝔯 𝔠𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔰 𝔪𝔢 𝔱𝔥𝔞𝔱...'

I thought, I was uneasy and afraid.

I never heard this person's voice before but it seemed oddly familiar.

I could only make out the voice as male.

"(𝔜/𝔫)? 𝔖𝔱𝔞𝔯𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱, 𝔢𝔫𝔬𝔲𝔤𝔥 𝔤𝔞𝔪𝔢𝔰 𝔞𝔩𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔶. 𝔏𝔢𝔱'𝔰 𝔯𝔢𝔱𝔲𝔯𝔫 𝔥𝔬𝔪𝔢, 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔰 𝔞𝔯𝔢 𝔴𝔬𝔯𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔡 𝔞𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔱 𝔶𝔬𝔲."

The voice called out once more, it was soft and heartwarming, but every part of my body screamed that I shouldn't listen.

'𝔒𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔰? 𝔖𝔬 𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔢'𝔰 𝔪𝔬𝔯𝔢...'

I thought, my heart was pounding and my head was racing.

The person was quiet for a moment before a sigh.

"𝔄𝔯𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔩𝔩 𝔲𝔭𝔰𝔢𝔱 𝔞𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔱 𝔴𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔢𝔫𝔢𝔡? (𝔜/𝔫), ℑ 𝔡𝔦𝔡𝔫'𝔱 𝔪𝔢𝔞𝔫 𝔱𝔬 𝔥𝔦𝔱 𝔶𝔬𝔲... ℑ 𝔬𝔫𝔩𝔶 𝔤𝔬𝔱 𝔞 𝔩𝔦𝔱𝔱𝔩𝔢 𝔲𝔭𝔰𝔢𝔱 𝔴𝔦𝔱𝔥 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔰 𝔞𝔩𝔩... 𝔑𝔬𝔴, 𝔭𝔩𝔢𝔞𝔰𝔢, 𝔣𝔬𝔯𝔤𝔢𝔱 𝔞𝔟𝔬𝔲𝔱 𝔴𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔢𝔫𝔢𝔡 𝔱𝔬𝔡𝔞𝔶. ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔢𝔳𝔢𝔫 𝔱𝔯𝔶 𝔱𝔬 𝔪𝔞𝔨𝔢 𝔦𝔱 𝔲𝔭 𝔱𝔬 𝔶𝔬𝔲!"

The owner of the voice seemed to be filled with regret about something.

My cheek seem to throb for some reason. I lifted my hand up to touch it and hissed.

'𝔒𝔲𝔠𝔥-! 𝔗𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔪𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔟𝔢 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔰𝔬𝔫... 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔭𝔢𝔯𝔰𝔬𝔫 𝔰𝔩𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔢𝔡 𝔪𝔢 𝔞𝔠𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔰 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢.'

The voice called out again as I flinched and shut my eyes, tightly.

The whole forest seems to grow colder and colder now.

"(𝔜/𝔫). 𝔍'𝔪 𝔤𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔮𝔲𝔦𝔱𝔢 𝔦𝔪𝔭𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔢𝔫𝔱 𝔴𝔦𝔱𝔥 𝔶𝔬𝔲. ℭ𝔬𝔪𝔢 𝔒𝔲𝔱 𝔑𝔬𝔴."

The voice called out again, but the tone was more irritated than soft.
