"Jungkook! Stop snoozing off!!" Jimin scolded lightly punching his friend's back.

"Did you even sleep last night?" he asks shaking his head.

"Of course not, he wasn't at the dorms" Hobi replied.

"I was with y/n" he mumbles sleepily.

"Would you be free at 1 today?" he asks through the phone.

You could hear his voice laced with tiredness and at the same time anxiety.

"in the morning?" you asked. 

"Yes, I want to see you" he says.

"Okay, you can come over" you say.

"Okay, I'll see you later" he says before ending the call.

Jungkook and you had been dating for around 7 months after being friends since you two were 7 and separated and brought back together. Jungkook thinks it was fate that brought them both together again, in Busan, their hometown, where it all began.

As soon as Jungkook keyed in the passcode to your apartment, he was thankful that you didn't have those bright lights greeting him but instead, his mikromosis lamp that he gifted you for fun.

He was greeted by the cats who shamelessly throw their bodies down in front of him, asking for attention, as if you weren't just cuddling with them a few seconds ago. You smiled before making your way to your boyfriend.

"Hi baby" he smiled, looking up at you, after feeling your presence near him.

"Hey" he stood up before engulfing you in a nice hug.

Although it was what he normally would do, it felt different this time. It felt like he was holding onto you longer. Like he needed it.

"Are you okay?" you asked pulling away slightly, holding onto his forearms.

"Mmhm" he nodded.

You led him to the sofa so you both could sit and talk about it.

"Why did you want to meet me at 1?" you ask.

"I told you, I want to see you" he says smiling softly.

"But you sounded so tired... I thought you'd prefer to be back home and sleep" you say chuckling softly.

His eyes are so tired which makes you naturally pout at his state. You reach out your hand to caress his face. He leans into your touch, closing his eyes.

"You look so exhausted baby" you say.

"I am" he confessed, opening his eyes again, teary now.

"What happened?" you asked, getting worried.

"Ever since the management knew i haven't been at the dorms often, they're on my ass about it" he started.

"We had a meeting earlier today, well just me and the two executives... Soomin noona and Hyuck" he says.

"They were trying to figure out where I was. I know all they're doing is trying to protect the band and the image, but they were so persistent into finding out what it was. I told them, I've rekindled with a friend form childhood and have been spending more time with them, and the only thing they caught on was when i said 'her'"
