Later that night, they decided on a barbecue for dinner. You saw Yoongi, Hoseok, Ara preparing the food while Jungkook, Taehyung and Woojin seems to be in charge of the others.

Woojin was working on the grill while Jungkook was around the dinner table, busy with whatever he was doing.

"Jungkook, could you help me with this grill?" Woojin asked.

"He's busy, I can help" you say.

"No, it's okay, she doesn't know how to" Jungkook say.

That's true.

"I can try and help" you say.

"No, just let me do it, you can do something else" Jungkook say.

"I'll do it" you say to Woojin.

"Okay, I'll help you" Woojin smiled.

"Yah" Jungkook say eyebrows furrowed.

He watched as you try to help Woojin with it.

"Y/N- I can help" Jungkook said as made his way over.

"Shit!" Woojin yelled, and a piece of charcoal dropped near your feet as Woojin pulled you away.

You almost fell with the sudden force but Jungkook caught you by your waist.

"I told you I'll do it!" Jungkook scolded.

For the first time, you were afraid of Jungkook. The way he's scolding you right now, his voice full of aggression. His grip on you was secure, almost like he didn't want you to get hurt. But at the same time, his eyes were scary.

You backed away from him, feeling dizzy from whatever happened. Your brain couldn't even process anything but all you know is that you've never seen Jungkook that angry at you. And for what? Was it because Woojin almost got hurt?

You walked away, entered the house again and into your room.

"You need to talk to her" Jimin say, patting Jungkook's shoulder as he stood in defeat.

"I'm sorry, I should've been more careful" Woojin apologised because she was the reason the hot charcoal almost fell on y/n.

"you should have" Jungkook said before walking off.

"Don't mind him, he's all over the place" Jimin said apologising to Woojin for Jungkook's behaviour.

Jungkook calmed himself down after separating himself from the rest outside. His heart was racing still from the incident. Y/N almost got terribly hurt.

He then decided he wanted to see you.

"Y/N" he called, walking into the room to see you laying on your bed.

"Go away Jungkook" you say trying not to face him.

You felt a weight at the end of your bed then a hand resting on your ankles.

"We should talk" Jungkook says.

You stayed silent.

"Could you please, not ignore me anymore. i hate it"he said sighing before scooting closer to your upper body.

"C'mon~~" he said in teasing tone before attacking your hips with tickles.

"Cmon~" he continued as you laughed trying to move him away.

He was already smiling from your little giggles.

"Alright, stop stop" you say sitting up, finally facing him.

He then scooted closer again, and held your hands that were fiddling among themselves.

"Look, I'm sorry for raising my voice at you earlier. I just didn't want-"

"I get it, you didn't want Woojin to be injured. I should've let you spend that time with Woojin instead of blocking you from that opportunity. I don't know what got to me, but my body just felt like I didn't want you two to spend anymore time next to each other, and I don't know why i've been feeling this way" you admitted.

Jungkook had a little smile and smirk playing on his lips when he heard what you had to say.

"Why are you smiling?" you frowned.

"Paboyah..." he mumbled.

"Yah!" you slapped his arm.

"How oblivious can you be? Must I really say it to you..." Jungkook chuckled slightly.

"What are you talking about?"

"It's you y/n. It has always been you, not Woojin. Do you know how dangerous the grill could be? Especially when there's already burning charcoal in? Furthermore you had no idea how to set it up... You should've let me done it. I could have just set it up myself.."

"And of course I got worried and scolded you for it because.. god, i'd have no idea what would happen if YOU got hurt" he said.

"It's you y/n. I like you, no fvck that, I love you and I know this could possibly ruin our friendship, but I just have to let it out, it's been a long while, and I just need to let it out to you" he said looking directly in your eyes .

You could feel he was nervous. He was playing with his lip ring. Until you cracked a little smile that calmed him down.

"I've always loved you too Jungkook" you say and he broke out into a smile.

His eyes then glanced at your lips and back to your eyes and your lips again. So tempting.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked.

You nodded, and he took that opportunity to finally feel your lips on his. Both of your hearts were bursting in happiness. You two have been wanting to do this for awhile now and for it to finally happen, made your poor heart do a cartwheel. The innocent kisses turned into a lot steamy want. One filled with not only passion but the neediness.

Jungkook trailed kisses down to your jaw, then your neck, finding a sweet spot, making you let out a soft moan. You could feel him smile against your skin before he trailed back up to your lips.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do this"
