i wish your voicemail had a personal greeting
everytime i call i hear the same voice that isn't yours
taunting me with the fact that my call has been forwarded...
my call has reached but not gotten to...
you see me and your voicemail have become quite acquainted
a little rehearsed at this point, it tells me one thing, the same thing, and i say i miss you
i can't tell if im missing you or the voice anymore
i can't tell if there's a difference
well perhaps one
the voice always answers
you see when this first started between your voicemail and i, i would dread to hear it
as time has passed
and i spent more time hearing them, i guess i grew more afraid of what i'd say if you ever picked up.
