Chapter 11: Mokuren's Day Off

*Motoki and Tsubaki are enjoying their day off from school. Meanwhile, Mokuren, the leader of team monkey, is getting ready for the day. Housenka, the brown front-tailed troublemaker, is relaxing in her bed. Tsuwabuki, the blonde pigtailed girl, is practice Shogi in the corner of their dorm.

Mokuren:"It's our day off!"

Housenka:"Oh yeah, I forgot it was our day off."

Mokuren:"Aren't you glad too? I think I'll go for a nice long walk today. I'll pick some fruits to eat, and smell some flowers. I can just take it easy today.

Housenka:"You can help me beat Sazanka!"

Mokuren:"Uh...sure."

Tsuwabuki:"Stop that, Housenka. You know Mokuren can't turn down a request."

Mokuren:"Ehehehe..."

Housenka:"Fine, then you come help me!"

Tsuwabuki:"Can't, I'm going to play Shogi with Fuki and the others."

Housenka:"Then how are we supposed to become team dog?!"

Tsuwabuki:"Eh, don't need it. Why don't you play Shogi with us, it can make you use your brain for once."

Housenka:"Huh?! Big words coming from a muscle-head like you!"

Mokuren:"Ah..."

*Tsuwabuki stood up from her seated position, clenching her fists*

Tsuwabuki:"Seems like this little monkey, needs to be taught a lesson!"

*Tsuwabuki tried to punch Housenka, but she dodged the attack*

Housenka:"Whoa! Hey, I only said that because you called me stupid first!"

Tsuwabuki:"Shut up!"

Housenka:"Ahhh!"

*The two of them start to roughhouse from their dorm to the hallway, which caused a huge mess in their room. Leaving Mokuren in the ruined room*

Mokuren:"O...kay..."

*Mokuren cleaned up the room, and headed outside*

Mokuren:"I'm already tired. Well, that wasn't the best start, but the rest of the day will be calm and relaxing."

*Mokuren peacefully hummed through the forest, she gathered many nuts and berries to eat. However, she instead gave them to a bird that landed on her shoulder*

Girl 1:"Mokuren!"

Mokuren:"Hmm? What's the matter?"

Girl 1:"Well, Ajisai just sprained her wrist. Can you do your healing thing, please?"

Girl 2:"I-It's fine, I could just put some herbs on it."

Girl 1:"Come on...it'll be a waste of a day off if you can't play because of your hand."

Girl 2:"But still..."

Mokuren:"I don't mind, let me take a look at it."

Girl 2:"P-Please be gentle."

*Mokuren puts her hand on the girl's wrist, does a jutsu sign to her mouth, raised her hand  in the air, and lightly brought it down to the girl's wrist*

Girl 2:"Ouch! I said be gentle!"

Mokuren:"Sorry. So how is it?"

*The girl shakes her wrist*

Girl 2:"It's fixed!"

Mokuren:"That's great."

Girl 2:"Thank you!"
