Y/N POV 

When class ended, I grabbed my book bag and walked out. I went to get a book out of my locker and felt someone stare at me so I turned around and saw Tara Carpenter. I flashed her a smile and waved

but her eyes widened and she spun back to her friend group. I just shrugged it off.

Weird.

After School

Tara's POV

"then she caught me and she did the cute little smile thing where she has her tongue poking just a little bit" I ramble to Liv, Mindy, and Amber.

"aaaannnd then you turned around like an idiot," Mindy said while eating popcorn

"you literally have liked her for what? 2 years?" Liv says

"Yeah how about you just ask her out at this point," Amber says as she tries to get some of Mindy's popcorn but gets her hand slapped away"

"no no no no. not an option. Can't do that" I say immediately

"Well if you don't say anything then I will," Mindy says and Amber and Liv agree

"You guys better not," I say

"what if she thinks I'm weird? I'm not even sure if she's into girls"

"Girl. Be so for real." Liv says

"She's definitely into girls. I would know." Mindy says

"I'm still not talking to her AND you guys aren't either!" I say

"Okay," they all say

The next day

I'm sitting in one of the classes I don't pay attention because I'm too busy staring at Y/N.

I was looking at Y/N getting frustrated at her work and a smile crept up on my face at her furrowed eyebrows.

I was too deep into my staring session that I didn't realize Mindy threw a paper ball at Y/N, making her turn around and look dead at me with a confused face. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped slightly. Y/N opened the paper and read it then looked back at me, she nodded and did a little smile.

I turn to Mindy and grab her shirt

"What did you right on the paper!?" I said shaking her

"chill I just said you would help her study in the library" she says putting her hands up in the air

I let go of her 

"oh god." I put my hands on my face

After the class

"come on lets go to the library" Mindy says

"I can't believe you did this" I say walking with her

"I can't believe it worked. go in" she says as we arrive

"No no. I can't do it." I say walking away just to be pulled back and shoved in

And there she was sitting at one of the tables looking at her phone.

"Oh hey, Tara" says smiling. She knows my name?

"Hi" I say dodging any type of eye contact and sit down across from her

"you should probably sit next to me. It will be easier"
