Chapter 9: Slime Rain

Y/N's PoV

Bella and I decided to take a trip to a bathhouse to clean ourselves for the day, doesn't help that I'm mostly covered in Minotaur blood when Ais Wallenstein came to the rescue and sliced that Minotaur in half like it was nothing. She is definitely called the sword princess for nothing.

Anyhow, we decided to take different room. Least two rooms that is next to each other. One for the men and one for the women, least close to each other since we can communicate with each other still. I'm in a towel now after exiting out of the changing room, I undo my towel and jump into the water which I begin to clean myself. Since I'm next to the wall, I knock on the wall, and it should thin enough to hear each other.

Y/N: "Bella, Bella. Are you in there?"

Bella: "Y- Yes. I'm in the other room now."

Y/N: "Good. Was hoping we could talk since the walls are thin enough, don't like having to be left alone in a big room."

Bella: "True. W- What could we talk about?"

Y/N: "About what happened earlier, when she arrived."

Bella: "The sword princess, Ais Wallenstein? Aren't a no lie when she cut that Minotaur in half. Her reputation does hold her up."

Y/N: "Very. Guess look where fate turned up, somehow, I did get to talk to her. Somewhat close enough."

Bella: "What do you think about Ais Wallenstein?"

Y/N: "Me? She looks cute, looks like a quiet type of girl but wonder if there more to know about her. What about you?"

Bella: "She's pretty. Strong too, everyone must really like Ais."

Y/N: "The rumors don't lie."

Bella: "Do you like Ais?"

Y/N: "Me? Like Ais. Hm, to tell you the truth. I do think Ais looks beautiful, could get to know her more. Overall, I don't know what she thinks about other guys that are crushing on her. Let alone like me."

Bella: "Maybe she returns the same feeling, did notice that she remembers."

Y/N: "Maybe. What are the chances I may run into her again."

Bella: "Guess we'll find out." *To myself* [And I wonder if Y/N will find out about me as well. I've known him for a few days, yet we've been working together quite well. I want to grow stronger and wonder if he will accept my feelings as well.]

So, I begin to clean myself up to wash away the dirt and blood after my journey through the cave. It was quite a day to meet Ais Wallenstein again after that encounter with the minotaur. Once we've finished cleaning up, I pay for the services at the bathhouse and return back home to tell Hestia the news about yesterday.

Hestia: "So... You were saved by a girl from the Loki Familia."

Y/n: "Yes, that is correct."

Hestia: "And was she beautiful?"

Y/N: "No denial."

Hestia: [Ugh. I hope Ais WallenWhatsit isn't trying to steal Y/N. It had to be someone from the Loki Familia.] *To Y/N* "Of course, there had to be a girl from Loki Familia. Uggh."

Y/N: "You really don't like Loki, huh? Why do you two dislike each other so much?"

Hestia: "We had this rivalery for a long time since we descended upon this world. She often makes fun of my Familia for being so small, as well as call me a "runt". In return..." *smirks* "I make fun of her flat chest."

Y/N: "Ouch. Guess I can see why."

If Hestia and Loki are rivals to each other. This might be difficult to try hanging around with Ais more, doubt that's going to be like that but guess we'll see how that goes."
