if they were being honest, every single one of suna's close friends thought it was absolutely hilarious that he was considered an emotionless womanizer to the media. after a specific weekend, it seemed that no one could no longer contain their grins everytime suna was mentioned, but the media remained surprisingly unsuspecting as everyone shrugged off their questions with a small smirk.
"hey," atsumu called a few days after the latest scandal concerning suna, once where the media went up in flames when he was seen hugging of his fans in a photo. suna glanced over from his spot on his couch while osamu looked over as well, finding atsumu tilting his head. "are ya ever going to tell the media?"
suna blinked before he registered what he had meant, then shrugged carelessly, eyes falling shut. "i don't know. i don't care much about the media finding out about it, i just worry about, you know..."
osamu sighed. "makes sense."
surprisingly, it was not the twins who had accidentally dropped the bomb, neither was it any of the people suna had expected. instead, it was fucking sakusa.
"sakusa!" a reporter yelled out once, eyed glistening. "what have you been up to recently?"
"nothing much." sakusa grumbled. "exercising, i guess."
"any exciting events you attended recently?"
"i haven't been in an event for long, if you exclude suna's wedding and the last worldwide volleyball starts even." he stated casually, then paused when he realized everyone around him had quite literally froze. "what?"
"suna's wedding?" the reporter blinked in disbelief. "as in, suna rintarou? he got married?"
sakusa's face paled. "fuck."
on the other side of town, suna found himself glaring at the TV screen, thankful that his spouse was too busy napping as he started thinking on how to fix this, his phone already blowing up with hundreds of notifications.
immediately after sakusa's interview, bokuto's face appeared, laughing awkwardly. "well, i'm glad sakusa broke the news regarding suna and his husband, it was really hard not laughing when someone mentioned suna being an emotionless player when he was just sobbing his eyes out at his wedding last week!"
there were immediately yelled 'husband?' and bokuto's eyes widened as atsumu smacked his head with a loud groan, and suna only slowly huffed, massaging his temples in frustration as his phone buzzed even more.
a few hours later after a huge meeting with his pr team and his husband's consent about publicizing their relationship, he finally posted a photo.
