i almost got ran over because i was staring at alex and not at the street.
god, even at the assembly alex's mom did i was still looking at him.
i didn't even listen to anything penelope said, because i was distanced.

we exited the auditorium after penelope, when her seminar was done.
"great cpr presentation, mom." elena grinned.
"yeah, mom, the presentation was amazing. if this whole thing wasn't about saving lives, i'd say you killed it." alex agreed.
"i would stab myself for you to heal me." i joked.
"i would let you bleed out." alex blinked.
"liar! you'd take me to a hospital."
