alex looked over at her, and quickly looked away.
they hadn't spoken recently.
neither of them wanted to talk about that horribly awkward kiss.
but, cherry shrugged it off.
alex was definitely high when he said that. he wasn't thinking straight, and cherry wasn't going to be stupid and lose him over something so stupid.
so, cherry would go back to flirting, and pretend like nothing had ever happened.
there was a knock at the door.
everybody ignored it.
"did you decide what we're watching for movie night?" penelope questioned.
"no. it's like there's nothing good on netflix anymore." alex said, scrolling through the tv.
penelope opened the door.
"hi, i'm from the census." a man greeted.
penelope shut the door in his face, and turned back.
"mom, why did you do that?" elena snapped up.
