"Of course we start the year with fucking maths," Adira huffed in annoyance before slamming her locker shut, rolling her eyes in the process, "out of all subjects, it's maths."

Chrissy chucked from beside her, an amused look on her face as she shut her locker, "oh come on Ad, you and I both know that you don't hate maths as much as you say that you do," Chrissy said

"No. Nope, I hate it," Adira said, shaking her head firmly, "seriously, I despise it. I'd rather die," she says with a sigh, tucking her books under her arm before the two of them begin walking to class, "besides, so we really have to be at school? Let's just go back to my house and watch a movie and eat as food until we throw up," she pleaded, rubbing her tires eyes

"You're so smart though," Chrissy complained, wishing that she could have been as smart as the brunette, "I don't get how you can ace all of your subjects but hate school so much, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Not to mention that you hardly ever study, the only study you really get is when you're tutoring me or one of the boys."

"Eh," Adira said, shrugging her shoulders, "I'm only because I wanted to be better than my brother at something, and the only thing left happened to be grades," Adira replied

"Hey," Chrissy complained, nudging her friend, "you're way cooler than Steve... besides, you wouldn't have to be that smart to get better grades than Steve," Chrissy joked, making Adira crack a smile

"You're so right," Adira agreed, snickering as the two made fun of her brother, "I can't believe he's almost finished school though. We still have ages to go," Adira complained with a small huff

"It's not that long... besides, high school is better than going off into the real world. We get to see each other all the time at school, but who knows how much we will see each other once we graduate", Chrissy said sadly

"C'mon Chris, we're gonna buy cute little houses next to each other, raise our kids and see each other all the time. That's the plan right?" Adira said. Chrissy nodded her head, "and nothin is gonna change that alright. If we can't afford houses straight away, you can just move into my house, lord knows we have enough space and my parents are never fucking home," Adira continues

"And I doubt my brother would have any problem with a hot babe like you at-" Adira was talking but as they rounded the corner, Adira was suddenly knocked back as she ran into someone, "oh shit. I'm so sorry," she quickly said, quickly picking her books up off the floor and then looking up at who she had run into.

"No problem sweetheart," Billy replied, a smirk on his face as he peered down at her. She looked up into his blue eyes, a cool shiver running down her spine. He was much taller than her, which he found amusing as he towered over her

Adira rolled her eyes as soon as she heard the nickname, "great," she muttered under her breath before sticking a fake smile on her face, "well, sorry again," she said and went to move around him but he stepped to the side, effectively managing to block her.

Adira looked over at Chrissy who was watching the whole ordeal from behind Billy, a slightly annoyed look on her face as she watched Billy torment her friend

"Sorry dude, but I gotta get to maths, my teacher will kill me if I'm late," she said and tried to walk past him again, but once again, he moved in front of her, "I said I'm sorry. If you plan on beating me up or something can you at least wait until after school," Adira snapped but then remembered she had soccer training, "oh shit I have training... so maybe at around 5?"

Billy looked down at her with a raised eyebrow, quickly catching on that she was being a smart Alec. "I don't know... I'm a little busy at five, but maybe you could stop by my house a little later tonight?" Billy suggests, his smirk only growing as he looked down at her, her cheeks going slightly red
