Hoseok felt betrayed and humiliated after his encounter with Yoongi. The male was perfectly clear regards what he thought about assassin and Hoseok wasn't going to forget it that easily. He simply couldn't.

After everything he and Yoongi had gone through ever since he became Shadow Fighter, he didn't think they'd go back to times when Hoseok couldn't stand that man's presence. But as it's said, never say never.

He and Yoongi hadn't as much said hello to each other since the fight and it seemed like they both were okay with it. At least none of them were planning to make first step.

Few days later Hoseok was leaving his room when he accidentally bumped into Namjoon. The underboss greeted him politely as always. One thing Hoseok admired about him was the way he would never show you what was going on inside his head unless he directly told you. However, the assassin was aware that Namjoon was struggling to keep up with his boss who wasn't in the best shape lately. Plus on top of that he tried to hide from outer world that everything wasn't as stable within mafia as it should have been.

"Hoseok!" Namjoon called him before the male managed to leave. The redhead slowly turned around waiting for him to continue. "He isn't doing well."

"Who?" Hoseok played fool.

"Stop, it isn't funny. I'm talking about Yoongi of course. He started drinking again and I don't like his attitude when he's drunk. He's too hard to handle."

"I'm sorry for you? I don't know what you want to hear from me." Hoseok crossed arms over his chest. He really had no idea what Namjoon wanted him to do about it.

"Please don't be like this and act as if you don't care about him. It hurts both of you. Everyone sees it. He's locked either in his room or office all the time and you... you just walk aimlessly around hoping to have a glimpse of him. I know that deep down you care about him."

Hoseok's throat clenched when he tried to protest. Every word Namjoon said was truth. Yoongi became different person. Silent majority of times, lost in his thoughts. And Hoseok was truly unhappy with their fight. But at the same time he was badly mad at Yoongi.

"I don't know what makes you think that I still care for him, but trust me, you're wrong. I maybe once did care, but not anymore." He said firmly, trying to sound confident. How much he wished he could forget Yoongi so easily.

"Please, don't insult my intelligence. I see it clear as day, you both are struggling and need each other but instead of solving problem as adult people, you ignore the elephant in room and avoid any contact." Namjoon sighed, rubbing his temples tiredly. He really looked exhausted, Hoseok noticed that only now.

At any smallest inconvenience with Yoongi, he had to take over and rule mafia. It must have been hard. The assassin felt bad for the male. Namjoon was strong and smart but even he must have had his limits.

"Trust me Hoseok, you'll never know the hardships that Yoongi has to go through as the mafia leader. Sometimes he makes decisions which he hates himself. Don't judge his whole personality only on one mistake that he made."

"I'm not angry at him for what he did, Namjoon. I'm angry for the things he told me. You weren't there, okay? And you have no idea how much he hurt me. I wanted him to admit the truth about what he did. But instead he kept up with his lies and told me things that really badly hurt me. I don't want to forgive him!"

Even if Hoseok sounded petty, he didn't care. It was his right not to forgive Yoongi. Even if that ended up backfiring on him. Hoseok was one stubborn male.

"I'm asking you just to listen him out." The underboss begged him. He really had lots of things to deal with and he needed Yoongi back. The sooner those two would solve their problems, the better.
