45. Rescue Mission

"Hyung, what are you doing?"

Hoseok stopped on his tracks when heard Jungkook's voice. The assassin was in the process of packing the weaponry he'd need.

"Kook, it isn't the best time now. Let's talk later."

"When is it good time to talk? I think since we moved here we're both busy with different things and barely have any time for each other."

It wasn't complete lie. Lots of things happened since the moment they moved into mafia's headquarters. Both of them got engaged in some kind of relationships, having little time for each other. However, Hoseok did try to keep an eye on the younger and make sure that he was staying away from troubles and danger.

"You're right, I'm sorry Jungkook." The redhead put aside the bag and went to hug his brother. "I miss times when it was just two of us and we shared every little detail of the day with each other. I'm sorry if I made you feel neglected, but I still care a lot about you, okay? You'll always be my baby Kookie."

"Hyung... where are you going?" Jungkook eyed his brother's bag filled with the weapons and the costume which the male only wore when he went on missions.

"Don't worry. I just have to do something. I'll be right back-"

"You want to save Soobin alone, don't you?"

"More time we wait, worse can happen to him. You don't understand, Kook. His father... he's real monster. I saw it in his eyes when he came here demanding to give him Soobin. That man is pure evil. God knows what he's doing to the kid now."

"Namjoon hyung said he'll find a way and-"

"I know and I trust Namjoon too, but... I'd have done same if it was for you bub." The older cupped his brother's face and tried to make him understand that he had no other choice. "He's part of a family now. I have to try rescue him."

"And what if it doesn't work and they capture you or even worse, kill you? Hyung, I have no one except of you, please don't do this..."

"Everything will be alright. I can take care of myself. Don't you trust me? Did you forget who is your brother?"

Jungkook yanked the older in a tight hug, burying face in his neck. He didn't want to be selfish prick, but he wasn't ready to let Hobi go on suicidal mission. At the same time, he felt bad for Soobin whose fate was unknown for all of them. He had no idea what to do.

"Let your hyung take care of it, alright? You don't have to worry about anything. Just promise you won't tell anyone until I return, okay? Do you promise me, Kook?"

"This is so unfair. I don't want to let you go." Jungkook felt like crying. He didn't like this idea at all. He'd prefer his hyung by his side, where he knew nothing bad would happen.

"I know, but everything will be alright. I promise. I'll return our boy back home." Hoseok untangled himself from the younger's hug, patting his head and finished packing in few minutes. "I'll sneak out so no one notices me, but you'll have to keep quiet about this okay?"

Jungkook nodded, already hating this idea. He didn't want Hoseok to risk his life. He wanted his brother to be at place that was safe for him.

"You promised, hyung. You promised to be back with Soobin. Don't break your word."

"Have I ever let you down?"

Thanks to Yoongi's men, Hoseok exactly knew where to look for boy. The luxury villa which his father owned was very well protected just as the redhead expected. Sneaking inside was a real challenge. If he managed to avoid guards, that didn't mean we would be capable of not getting caught on the cameras. That's why Hoseok knew he had to be as fast as possible until someone found out about his intrusion.
