On the 23rd of May, PLEDISEntertainment announced Mei Luna Feng's departure from the company and many fans were saddened by the news.
For confirmation, she posted on her Instagram account, which was inactive since last year and as of right now has been deleted, a post thanking PLEDIS for everything they've done for her.
Since the posts only thanked Pledis, many wondered if she was leaving the industry for good or transferring to another company.
Luckily, netizens weren't left hanging for long as Star News reported on the 13th of June that Mei had transferred to Source Music, also part of HYBE labels and will be debuting in their upcoming girl group.
Surprisingly, the news was actually confirmed by Source Music which made a post welcoming Mei to the Source Music family.
Mei is suspected to be a member of Source Music's alleged upcoming girl group which as of now, allegedly consists of Kim Chaewon and Miyawaki Sakura.
Fans can't help but be excited about the news and can't wait for Mei to debut.
