ALL AT ONCE

Within three days many things happened in my life, which were unpredictable, now we are going to hospital, which I hate the most, actually no one is a fan of hospital...it is the same for me. Now we three of them are in the car, Abhi driving, Deepak in the front seat, and me of course in the back seat. I can see a lot of tension in me, I cant express how, it was not unnoticed by Deepak.

Deepak: dear, I know you are tensed, but I want you to relax, otherwise it is you who is going to suffer. so be at ease, ok?

Me: ok, it is just that, I dont know what will happen.

Abhi: hey, dont worry I will be there with you all the time, ok?

Me: ok, I understood.

I was continuously looking down as I cannot face them now. I think they understood my situation and they let me be. After sometime we reached hospital. We directly went to Deepak's cabin. God knows what is waiting for me there. We reached there, and my check up started, they did my weight, height, BP, reflexes and the rest, and they felt satisfied making me satisfy, I was happy with that, then the worst part is here, my blood test, after making me in a comfortable position, Deepak wore the gloves and came near me with an empty syringe in his hand, and giving me a big smile, unknowingly I smiled back. He sat in front of me

Deepak: so I am going to take your blood and I suggest you not look here, alright?

I nodded and Abhi held me into his chest . Then I felt a pinch in my hand.

Me: ahhh

Deepak: hey it is almost over, relax and breath, ok?

Abhi: hey , relax ok? Hear my heartbeats

Which I did without hesitation and after sometime I felt normal and things were back to normal. And they send the blood samples to lab for test results. Obviously we chat for sometime and in between Deepak had an important surgery and abhi has to do a delivery. I felt alone for sometime , but after 6-7 hours they came back with my result I suppose.

Deepak: Swetha , your results are out, so I want to tell you that, you don't have much progress in vitamin D and iron, since you don't prefer meds, so my best and only option is shots, what do u say?

This literally made me in  a dilemma. I can't go with both option, but I prefer shots.

Me: shots will take.

Abhi: wise option.

Deepak: yah, because if you go with shots it will end now, about meds , I don't trust you.

Abhi: true.

Me: I am still regretting that decision of mine.

Deepak: ok, then lets start, let me go and prepare.

He again went and wash his hand ,then he put some sterilized gloves, then went to take some tube like thing and opened the syringe packet and filled the syringe with the medicine. Then he came near to me and told me not to look into it, I accepted that offer.

Abhi: so tell me about your future programs, do you want to continue your studies?

Me: can I ahhhhhhh....

Deepak: hey,hey,hey,,,,relax, it is almost over.

Me: stop it, it stings , it did feels like burning, pleaseeeee stop it...

Abhi: hey, relax,take deep breaths, it is almost over.

Me: please, just stop it, I can't do it anymore.  😢

Deepak: see it is over.

Than he kept the syringes and gloves in the waste bin. And he came near me, and side hugged the hiccupping me and then went near his cupboard and gave me some 🍫 chocolate and abhi gave me a forehead kiss. I felt happy and overwhelmed by their this action, I feels like a child now, I understood that I embarrassed myself.

Deepak: Now it is all over, as for iron, I will give it you tomorrow, because you might get fever today, not definitely. So don't worry about it and take rest here, we all three can go home afternoon.

Me: ok, but wait.

Both gave me questioning eye.

Me: Abhi you told me that I can continue studying, can I do that.

Abhi: why not, even I want you to study.

Me: thank you

Deepak: so sissy, what do you want to do, till evening  ?

Me: can any of you give me your laptop and I will be fine, and give me a table and chair too, I will be 😊 happy.

Abhi: ok, you go to my cabin, we have an urgent delivery coming, both of us are needed there. (Looking into his phone).

Me: ok, I got you guys, 😉 go and dont forget to show me the cutie later.

Deepak: most definitely dear.

Then they went outside to complete their works, I went to complete my works, it has been 5 hours since I started to work, I felt chill, and my body started to ache, I thought it was because of overworking, but it was not because of that, I kept the lap back and unknowingly slept on the chair, after sometime, when I tried to open my eyes, I couldn't , when I opened everything seems to be blurred, then I adjusted the site and found that I am in a hospital bed, with an IV in my hand, I unwantedly groaned seeing this. Then because of my voice my devils came to me and helped me stand up and gave me some water to drink, I gladly accepted and drank it in one go.

Deepak: you really scared us dear.

Abhi: what if something had happened to you Swetha.

me: guys , stop, I can't understand what you are saying, I was just sleeping there and when I opened my eyes, I am here, so please tell me what happened, rather than questioning me.

Deepak: when we came to call you , you were unconscious in the chair, we thought were sleeping and called you many times, when you didn't wake up Abhi checked your pulse, which was not so regular because of your high fever, and we suddenly put you into IV and.....

Abhi: and it took us lot of time and effort to bring your fever down, I was . ah... leave it, since you are fine, we are going home, and you have work to morrow. you are fine now. let us go.

me: ok, am sorry, it was not intentional, I did felt chill and body pain. sorry to make you worry.

I was in the verge of crying.

Deepak: now, dont cry, it is ok, you are ok, let us go home.

After taking the IV from my hand, we went home.
