S5 ep 2 strangers
We walked through the woods till we went to a stop for I'm guessing Judith when all of the sudden I see my father kissing Maggie I made a weird face as car looked at me I looked back and smiled and just thought why the fuck did I do that Maggie looked at me and smiled as her and glenn hugged Tara and rick started talking while me and Carl talked while he fed Judith. We soon continued walking me sweating my ass off cause it was Insanely hot. We all walked in silence till we got eww a zombie and michone killed it "right there is why we're waiting for our moment" Abraham told Rosita "yeah fair enough" she said it was now dark out Rick and carol where taking. We were walking while Daryl poppped up saying "we surrender" cause we all had our guns to him "no tracks no nothing" he told Rick "so whatever you heard last night it's more what I felt" rick replied "if someone's watching us there would have been something" Daryl said as rick turned back whistled to us and told us all to keep close "ready to get concrete under you feet?" Abraham asked rick "I think it's time" rick said "that is sweet music to my ears officer take the next. Road we come to try to get back to going north till  we find a vehicle. Good?" Abraham said "good" rick said "tighten it up" rick told Glenn "ugh wet socks" Sasha said "cool feet" the guy next to her said "mosquito bites" she replied "Itching remind you you're alive" he told her "danger around every corner" she said "never a dull moment" he replied "the hot sun beating down on you" she said "come on a glorious tan" he said to her making me quietly chuckle nobody else heard it but Carl as he told me "you have a pretty smile" I smiled I felt like I was gonna die I knew I was blushing and with my pale skin it so was showing leaving me embarrassed "thank y-you" I said "I said it and I meant it" bob said "no privacy" Sasha said "captive audience" he said as the kissed "one more" he said as they kissed again "one more" he teased as they laughed "there very cute"  I whispered to Carl "yeah" he said looking at me "he's a damn expert at that" Sasha told her brother "what was it?" He asked "a little game,good out of the bad" Sasha said as we heard a man yell out "help" "dad come on!" Carl told his father we all ran through the woods killing zombies that surrounded a rock that had a priest? On top of " come down" rick said as the priest through up "sorry" he said "thank you, I'm Gabriel" he said "you have weapons?" I asked "does it look like I would have weapons" "we don't give two fuckw what it looks like" Abraham said "I have no weapons at All, the only word of god is the only protection I need" he said "sure don't look like it" me and Daryl said I'm sync he laughed "I called for help help came" he said I looked at the man he was bad and had a black church gown on "do you have any food?, whatever I had left just hit the ground" Gabriel said "we got pecans" carl said handing him it "thank you" he said "that's a beautiful child, you got a camp?" Gabriel asked "no do you?" Rick asked "i have a church" Gabriel said "hold your hands above your head, how many walkers have you killed?" "None" "how many people you killed?" "None" "why?" Rick asked "because the lord abhors violence" Gabriel said "what've you done,we've all done something" rick said "I'm a sinner I sin almost every day but those sins I confess them to god not strangers" he said
"You said you have a church?" Michone asked yes he nodded "hey earlier where you watching us?" Rick asked "I keep to myself nowadays people are just as dangerous as the dead you think" "nahh people are worse" I said getting a nod from Daryl "well I wasn't watching you I haven't been beyond the stream near my church more than a few times since it all started that's the furthest I've gone before today, or maybe I'm lying, maybe I'm lying about everything and there's no church ahead at all, maybe I'm leading you into a trap so I can steal all your squirrels. Members of my flock had often told me that my sense or humor leaves much to be desired" Gabriel said "yeah it does" Daryl said as we all continued walking we made our way to a church with a we oddly familiar "hold up can we look around first we just wanna hold up our squirrels" rick said getting the key from Gabriel we all entered our guns in our hands looking around. After a bit we all went outside "thanks for this" Carl said "we found a bus outback,it don't run but I best we could it's that in less than a day or two father here says he don't want it looks like we found ourselves some transport, you understand what's at stake here right?" Abraham said "yes I do" rick said "now than we can take a breath" michone started before getting cut off my Abraham "if we take a breath we slow down,shit inevitably goes down" "we need supplies no matter what we do next" michone said "that right water food Ammunition " rick said "short bus ain't going nowhere bring you back some baker beans" Daryl said "one way or another we do what Rick does we are not gonna get split up again" Glenn said "what he said" I heard Tara say from the back "we want to roll with you but what she said"bob told Abraham. We were all inside now the adults where all talking while me and Carl had light conversation here and there it had been pretty awkward since he called her smile pretty. "How'd you survive for so long,where'd you supplied come from " rick asked the Gabriel "luck out annual canned food drive things fell apart after we finished it, it was just me"Gabriel said as Carl went to garb Judith from me "come here Judith" he said "damn I was holding her!" I said he playfully rolled his eyes as I looked back at Rick and Gabriel's conversation "the food lasted a long time and then I started scavenging cleaned out every place nearby" Gabriel finished "exepy for one? What kept you from it" rick said "it's overrun" he said "how many" rick asked "a dozen or so maybe more?" "We can handle a dozen" rick said "bob and I will go with you, tyreese you should stay here help keep Judith safe" Sasha said "that'll be okay?" Rick asked tyreese "sure,you ever need me to watch her need anything for her I'll be here" he said "I'm grateful for it and everything else" rick told him "I'll draw you a map" Gabriel suggested "you don't need to you're coming with us" rick said "I won't be help you see me I'm no good around them" Gabriel said "your coming with us" rick said. Rick and Carl had went to talk alone so I just stood in a corner not doing anything "dad you're right I am strong we both. Are, but where strong enough that we can still help people and we can handle ourselves if things go wrong and we're strong enough that we don't have to hide" Carl said "well he's hiding something" rick said "stay safe dad" Carl told him before walking to me "hey..." I said "hey" he told me "uhm can we talk?" I asked "not right now, we should talk when we get somewhere safe" Carl told me I nodded. "Hey tyreese said you two where out back,come on in we got food slot of it" rick told us "cool" I said "good" Carl said "what is it?" "Those scratches their deep, like knives or something something was trying to get in found something else idk what happens but what we happen we can handle it. Doesn't mean Gabriel is a bad guy fs but it means something" Carl told Rick as we all looked at the wall witch I faced "you'll burn for this".
"Id like to propose a toast, I look around and I see survivors all of y'all had earned that omoney the survivors" Abraham said "survivors/cheers" everyone said in return "that all you want to be? Wake up fight walkers and forage for food rinse and repeat? Cause you can do that I mama you got the strength and skill thing is for you for what you can do that's just surrender now we get Eugene to dc and he will make them all die am right living have the world again and that is not a bad takeaway for a road-trip Eugene what's in dc" Abraham said "infrastructure constructed to withstand pandemics even if this fubar magnitude that mends food and appliances we need, a restart" "however long it takes for that reset button to kick in you can be sage here Sartre than since you've been since it all started , come with us save the world for a little longer, save it for everyone y'all got nothing else to do but survive" "if she's in im in, where in" rick said after Judith cood and smiled Saha grabbed michone and I still sat next to Carl in silence I looked up I up to see Maggie and Tara hugging "you know when I was younger I was so excited to turn 15" I said "yeah?" Carl said "yeah I wanted to grow up have freedom yk wear a crop top at least once in my life, all the cool girls wore em, but now I'm 15 and I want to be 9 again so bad" I said "tell me about it" "you know when I was nine I met you" I said looking at him as he was looking at me "yeah I know I remember then day we met you and your father stood side by side walking in the forest and I looked at you and I couldn't speak" Carl said "what you had a lil crush on me?" I joked "yeah..." he said I looked at him with a confused look "what?" I said "yup 10 year old Carl had a crush on a girl in a apocalypse don't be so shocked" he said "you liked me?... why?" "Of course I liked you, who wouldn't" I smiled "I was a pretty cute child wasn't i" I said "yeah whatever" he said "why didn't you tell me?" I asked "to embarrassed yk when we kissed that one time that went straight to my mind" Carl said "we kissed yk I forgot I'm just so popular I don't even remember🤷‍♀️" I joked suddenly we both remembered that everyone in the room could hear us taking, I looked up and only one who noticed was Maggie and Tara as they looked at us as I just smiled uncomfortably "I'm gonna go" I said "bye" Carl said "bye" Maggie and Tara stood up and followed me "your kissing that grimes boy huh?" Maggie asked me "it was only like once... or three times🤷‍♀️" I said "I knew it" Tara said "huh?" I asked since I hadn't told anyone " I saw y'all holding hand talking in secret looking at each other" she said "okay that's not even true" I exclaimed knowing damn well that's all me and Carl really do "it's not that big of a deal, so what we kissed" I said "have you told your father?" Maggie asked "no" I said "so it's a secret" Tara said "no it's not like that it just happened, it meant nothing I think" I said "so how come when he called your smile pretty you got all red turned away from him and smiled" Tara said "how do you know what?!" I asked "I hear everything" she said "whatever, don't tel anyone were not a couple or anything and I don't want people to know, especially my dad" I said "I guess we promise" Maggie said "thanks Maggie, you know if my father had to end up with anyone I'm glad it's you" I as she hugged me I walked away and sat back next to Carl "I just got adult trapped" I told him he laughed I smiled it was nice it was comfortable I liked how I felt like that around him.
