Hoseok's PoV:

'sorry.. I actually know this but.. I forgot', I gulped for the nth time in interview. This isn't me. Why was I over confident that I can get selected without properly preparing for interview? 'No issues Mr.Hoseok, Well..  Please wait outside for a ehile. We will inform you soon', the interview lady informed showing me the way to outside. Jungkook already said that Yoongi-ssi requested for this with Mr.Kim. And I think ruined the chance I got. I could have done better.

I took a deep breathe walking out to see Mr.Kim crossing me to go somewhere. It used to be my dream to work in Kim Constructions as a direct employee but I never get a chance. May be, I never deserved that position.

'Hey Mr.Jung!!!', Mr.Kim turned around to greet me. Wait.. does he recognise me? As Mr.Jung.. Not as Yoongi-ssi's husband? I smiled bowing to him. 'How was the interview?', he smiled back. Like shit. I couldn't give my 100%. 'Well..  I... I might have prepared well', I responded honestly. 'Nahh.. Would you like to join me in my cabin until your results are out?', Seriously?? Can I go and wait at CEO cabin. I startled. 'Only if you are fine..', he scratched his neck. Woahh.. Did I gave an impression that I am not comfortable.

'Certainly Sir!. I am overwhelmed by the invitation', I smiled again. We walked in to a huge room. My Old company's CEO room will be like the rest room in this office. This is so huge and...  looks like museum as Jin said. Woww... I can never understand such arts. Mr.Kim is really something.

'Come.. have a seat', Mr.Kim directed me towards a small coffee table setup. That looked classy. He has such a unique taste. I wonder why Jin hates him too much. If Jin was still his friend, I could have been a known person to him.

'Thanks for the interview arrangement Mr.Kim.. I feel honourable', I spoke again. 'No probs.. Would you like to have some .... ', he offered. 'Anything is fine', I responded. He moved his chair towards the fancy wall mount landline dailing something. 'Two Coffees please..', he spoke coming back towards the table.

'So... How are you adjusting for sudden changes in your life?',

It sucks. Why do everyone wanna show their sympathy.

I smiled a bit skipping the question.

'Hey.. I dint meant in offending way.. I hope you dint take it wrong', he shrugged. I nodded my head as No. I really dont wanna talk things like that.

'Ooppss.. Hey.. I am sorry.. I dont wanna have a bad impression on our first meeting.. I gonna get a abusive text from your bestie then', he smiled. I can't hold my smile. He is true.

'No Mr.Kim, please dont apologize. I am just... tired of being treated as I am pathetic', I responded honestly.

'Sorry for that. But.. In future, if you need a friend who could just listen and not judge you, please know I am happy to be that one', woahh.. Why is he so sweet.

'Fine.... let me introduce to you properly. Hoseok-ssi!!! I might be a new figure to you but... you were a known person for me from years. I have my eye on you more than you know',

'Sorry??'

'I mean... I was on the project expo of you in your final year of college. Kim Constructions was on a kickoff verge. We got good projects and I really needed enthusiastic employees like you. But.. Whenever I tried to reach you that Asshole Choi stood in between', he sighed. What? really? My Ex- CEO did that?

'Look at these...',. he opened his tab showing me something. I took it reading all with dates mentioned. And also the one who responded. It's either Mr.Choi or... Zelo, who used to be relationships manager back then. It's almost from the time I joined there. All those mails are about Mr.Kim requesting them to have me as direct employee since he is very impressed of my work and them rejecting it right away saying it's against their company law. But.. that's not what bothered me.
