Cara Halstead - 9 - sister
Quick back story Jay and Will are the older brothers of Cara (pronounced care-ah). Mother passed years ago and father is an alcoholic so the brothers won a battle for custody. I don't own any of these characters except from cara. Enjoy.

Cara's pov:
I heard footsteps rush up the stairs headed to my room and I knew exactly why so I put my phone down which I was currently on and pretended as if I was asleep.
"I know your awake cara, I heard you on your phone" I heard my brother Jay say.
"No I'm not" i muffled while I covered the sheets over my face
Jay pulled the sheets right down my body "cmon get out of bed" he said and a groan escaped my mouth
"I know why your doing this" he continued but got no response but a glance from the corner of my eye.
"You can't miss this appointment it's the only day I have off this week and you need to do this before school starts next week" still no response
"Please Cara"
"No I won't do it"
"You don't really have a choice and Wills waiting for you at med don't you want to see him?"
"We're not going to med to see Will, I'm not silly"
"Your right we're not but you'll still get to see him"
"I'm not getting a shot" i said with a huff
"No one said you had to"
"It's a back to school appointment, there's always shots"
"How about we just get in the car for now and worry about the rest later okay?"
"I haven't even eaten breakfast yet Jay" emphasising his name
He just laughed
"Let's go get some then" he replied with a smirk

After eating and a very long attempt of getting me in the car we finally arrived at med.
As Cara and Jay walked through the doors, Cara griping onto Jay tightly, they were greeted by both Will and Maggie.
Cara's pov:
My eyes lit up, "Maggie!" as I jumped into her arms
"Wow" Will said surprised "Not even a hi to your brother first, I'm hurt" he said sarcastically
"Oh hi Will" I responded while I sat in Maggie's arms
She took me into the play area and Jay and Will went off to talk who knows what about.
Wills pov:
"I'll ask Conor or Nat to do her check in cause I think it'll be best with someone she knows especially if she has to get you know what" I said to Jay
"Yeah that's good, I don't think this'll go well at all"

Cara was sitting on the exam table, Jay sitting on the chair in the corner and Will standing next to it. At that moment Natalie walked in, they all stood up and greeted each other, mainly just Natalie, Jay and Cara.
Natalie -"So I see that she's due for your average back to school check"
Jay and Will in sync - "yeah"
Natalie did all the necessary checks and all went smoothly until due shots were brought up.
"Noooo I'm not doing it, i won't" Cara screamed at the top of her lungs and attempted to run out but failed as Will grabbed her.
"Sh sh sh, calm down it's okay" Will said
Cara was placed back onto the bed with firm hands on her legs not only to keep her from running off again but to stop her tantrum kicking.
Natalie had left to grab everything she needed in a tray and placed it on the table.
"3!" Cara exclaimed "I don't want 3"
Jay was quick to comfort her "I know but it'll be quick and only be a pinch as long as you don't move"
"Easy for you to say why don't you get the shots" Cara sassed
"I did when I was your age actually" Jay sassed back
You could really see the brother sister resemblance between them.
Jay slid Cara back on the bed and laid her down not without her screaming noooo though.
"Please Jay, Will i really don't need them I don't mind getting sick honestly"
"you have to sweetheart" Will said
Jay didn't reply to her plead as he knew he was the same at her age kind of still is now. He just continued to hold her legs to the bed.
Natalie approached Cara with the first needle which only intensified her cries and kicking which caused Jay to hold her tighter.
"You have to stay still sweetie or I might accidentally poke you twice and I know you don't want that" Natalie said in a comforting tone
Cara thought to herself how she really didn't want to get poked more then necessary so she stopped kicking but not the crying
The first needle slid into her right leg.
"Ow ow ow" Cara cried
The next needle was slid in "oww I don't like it please stop"
Will - "I know I know only one more left"
Cara - "No more"
Jay - "hey just think about all the ice cream your gonna get after"
He continued to hold her down despite her pleas and turned her head to face him as Natalie approached with the third and final shot
"wait wait wait" Cara plead but just then was stuck with the last needle in her left leg
"Ahhh ow ow"
Jay loosened his grip and pulled her into a hug then whispered calming words into her ear and Will joined in by rubbing soothing circles on her back.
Natalie apologised and placed a loving kiss on her head just before she left.
Cara's pov:
"I'm mad at you two" referring to Jay and Will
"Well Cara's that are mad doesn't get ice cream" Jay stated
"I forgive you" I grinned wildly as i wiped my tears.

They all went and enjoyed ice cream went home and watched Snow White together, Cara's favourite movie and secretly Jays too.
