Jay had already left for work and it was just Will and Cara
"Cara why are you still in bed your supposed to be out the door in 5"
Will shouted as he made his way up the stairs and into my room
"Im not going to school" she said as she pulled the sheets over her head
Which made Will sit beside her on her bed
"And why's that" he question as he raised an eyebrow
She dramatically pulled the sheets from over her head and look straight in his eyes with a droopy look
"Oh" is all he uttered
"Oh?" She questioned
"Well you look a bit..."
"What does that mean? A bit what?" She questioned again
Will placed the back of his hand onto her forehead and immediately removed it when he realised
"Your burning up" Will said "you need to get from under the sheets"
"Noo I'm cold" she complained
"I'm sure you are kid but your way to hot" he told her as he took the remainder of the sheets off "you and me are staying home"
"Don't you have to go in for work?" She soon felt a wave of nausea wash over her and ran to the bathroom to puke up all her insides, once she was done and washed her face she got back into bed
"Well I think you need me more then them, they can last a day without me" he said rubbing her back then rose from Cara's bed to go retrieve a thermometer and made his way back to his original spot
"Open" he asked and she did as she was told
He stuck the thermometer under her tongue and waited for it to beep
"102" Will shook his head "I'll check it again in 30 see if it's gone down it might just be cause you had the sheets on, but if it reaches 104 you and me are taking a trip to the ER" he explained to her
"I'm not going to the ER" she stated plainly
"You might not need to but if you do get that high your going, no arguments, deal?"
She just gave him a look in response
"Cara." He warned
"Fine" she gave in
"Mhm" he wasn't convinced "pinky promise" as he held out his pinkie, he knew she'd never lie with a pinky promise
"That's not fair Will" making him chuckle
He just stuck his pinky out more causing her to dramatically hook her pinky around his and lock it and they both placed a kiss on the end of their thumbs
"Great, I'll go get you a glass of ice water and some ibuprofen" will said as he left her room and was back in her room just as quick
She took the pills along with a sip of water and she went to put the rest of the tall glass on her side table
"Nope, all of it" Will told her as he picked the glass back up and handed it to her
"It's too cold will I don't want it"
"Your dehydrated, you need that x10 so drink"
"I don't want it" she complained as she threw her head back
"That's fine I'll just get an iv set up for you" Will said as he slightly rose from the bed 'intending' to leave with the glass of water
"Fine I'll drink it if your gonna be like that" she said as she snatched the drink back from Will as he sat back down beside her all he could do was let out a little laugh
