"No-, no-, don't do this to me"

"No, stop, stop, stop!!"

I swiftly opened my eyes, gasping for the air that wouldn't enter my lungs.

Bbama was beside me, his face showed a little frown that shattered my heart into pieces. And so I held him tight in my arms, trying to calm him down. Or myself.

He just got a little bit startled, it's okay.

I looked at the electronic clock on my nightstand and realized it was three in the morning.

Why did I wake up so early?

My eyes were looking around the room, in the darkness. The only source of light were the LEDs and their blue colour.

For a second I saw him. His face showed a creepy smile, his eyes were wide. I blinked, and now he was standing one step away from the bed, mouthing the words 'why'.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry but I couldn't.

After forcefully slapping myself he disappeared, making me release a sigh as I realized it was just my imagination.

Bbama was snuggling into me this whole time, though he looked calm. I thought dogs could sense evil?

"It's all good now.. let's sleep more, yeah?" I said, more talking to myself than Bbama.

Then my body slumped back down on the bed and I closed my eyes.

For the second time today, I cracked my eyes open only to be hit by direct sunlight peeking through my curtains.

After checking my phone I found out that I was awake half an hour too early.

But that wasn't so bad, I had more time for myself.

I lazily rolled out of my comfort zone, paying attention to the fluff ball that was napping on the warm sheets.

With calm but big steps, I slowly made my way to the webbed pile of clothes scattered around my bedroom floor.

I picked up the wrinkled uniform that I had carelessly thrown the night before and headed to the bathroom.

After what felt like hours I finally got ready for school, which was starting in about an hour and thirty minutes.

Maybe I should take Bbama out.

I opened the door and called his name, approaching the puppy with little steps.

He, almost immediately, felt me and calmly woke up. I lifted him and held him close to my heart, leaving my bedroom.

As we got to the kitchen I gently put him down and poured water into his bowl.

He isn't thirsty.

"I'll give you some food, yeah?" I said, talking to the walls since the dog wasn't paying any attention to me.

I put the food into his bowl and permitted him to eat.

The wall was actually a more interesting sight than the dog eating its meal. I was completely lost, in another world. It made me not notice how Bbama started running around out of boredom, basically telling me 'let's go out already!'
