Neteyam's POV

I walked down the familiar bouncy pathway to our new home while Dad was in front, leading us while everyone else carried some of our stuff, assisting us.

Soon, we arrived in front of our new house and everyone entered. They all settled our stuff down and looked around.

I was checking inside the large cloth in which Mom's bow and her arrows were in and then Tuk came up to me, waving.

"Hi! You're Imaku, right?" she asked happily. I nodded. "Well, I'm Tuktirey but you can just call me Tuk. That over there," she pointed at Mom and Dad "is my mom and dad. Their names are Neytiri," she gestured to Mom "and Jake." she moved over to Dad "Those are my siblings; Lo'ak and Kiri." she hesitated before adding "And we used to have a big brother, Neteyam." 

I stiffened a bit at the mention of my name. I signed to her "What happened?"

She sighed and spoke in a hushed voice. "He...  died."

I was sad at how her back lowered a bit and her eyes were slightly watering. I wanted to just remove my mask and hug everyone but I couldn't.

time skip

"Finally!" Enchanica cried out after hours of arranging everything. She flopped on her newly arranged bed. Dad gathered everyone and told us before leaving "Don't worry. We were Omaticaya once but we learned. You'll be Metkayina soon enough." He smile before going out the door and a soon as he did, Eternia ran to the door to check if they were there. 

She gave a thumbs-up and I removed my mask.

The Sully family was in their house. Kiri had brought out that little speaker so they could listen to another of Neteyam's songs.

"Lo'ak! Hurry up!" she called to her big brother.

Lo'ak rushed in, chewing something in his mouth.

Kiri  pressed the play button and the song started

The song ended and they smiled as the memories of him came back.

But one person had questions.

"Who's the song about?" asked Tuk and Lo'ak answered her. "A special someone to Neteyam. But that special someone doesn't know about it and that's what," he turned to Kiri "makes it quite.. romantic." he said putting emphasis on the last word.

Kiri's mouth was hanging open before she put both of her hands on her mouth, smiling. She loved romance books and to her, this was news.

But before Lo'ak could press the pause button, a faint whisper of Neteyam's voice came from the speaker. 

"Oel ngati kameie, A."

They didn't know who "A" was and as to why Neteyam was saying 'I see you.' to  him,  but Lo'ak knew  damn well who it was. And he'll never stop teasing Neteyam even if he's dead.
