Atticus laid there in his bed getting both his arms cuddled by Rio and Jules
A: oh would you look at the time...
Atticus started shaking his hands rapidly to try and wake them up but instead he makes them cling harder.
A: Rio! Jules!
J: hmm?....what...
R: Rio....
A: get up we gotta get to our bus stop! We're going on our adventure!
Jules immediately let go of his hand but Rio let go and gave him a hug
A: ugh.. look Rio I really appreciate this hug but....we're gonna be late
Rio stopped hugging him and got up with Jules
It took Atticus a second to get up
A: alright we have an hour till we leave. So let's make it count!
0-20 minutes
Atticus packed up the air mattress and put it in his backpack.
Jules put her clothes in her backpack along with her jar of xl candy's.
A: oh my.. sorry Rio you don't have a bag... Here put your things in mine!
Rio put his PJs in the clothes along with a rock that was special to him.
20-40 minutes
Atticus washed Jules and Rio in the same tub
Rio had his eyes covered with his paws while he was curled in a ball.
Jules was sitting down covering herself with her knees under the water.
Atticus made sure to wash Rio nice and easy to not hurt him.
J: how come you treat him better when we have to shower!?
A: because
J: stupid
Atticus finished washing them and got them both out in towels.
Rio looked the other way while Atticus was drying Jules
A: alright. Uh may I?
J: you may.
When Atticus finished drying Jules he moved onto Rio who had his legs twisted into each other.
Atticus gently dried Rio. Rio felt like a dog that had been left out in the rain but when he dried he had dirt stained on his fur. That's what Rio felt like
After Atticus finished
He started trembling from fear
A: woah hey hey buddy! It's okay I'm not gonna hurt you!
Atticus looked in horror as Rio started mumbling the same thing over and over again
Looking at Jules he looks at her with a face that says "what is he saying"
J:It's gonna break your heart.
A: Jules what's he saying!
J: oh uhh..... He's uhm he's uh-
A: spit it out!
J: sorry jeez... He asking you..."please be gentle".
Atticus's eyes looked at Jules in horror but he turned over at Rio and just dried him.
Jules was confused but when he put the freshly washed boxers back on Rio he raised him up and clinged him to himself. Like if he was a baby being burped
