chapter 9: POV

I went through the bushes until i made it to the mall to meet Bruno.

When I got inside i sat on the bench which was next to the candy shop and the food court. I received a lot of weird looks from people and somebody even tried to catch me before their Pokedex said "not to be a thief".

It was a couple of seconds before I stood up thinking that he ditched.

R: ugh.. I should get back to the tent..

B: who ya tryna meet?

R: AH!

I turned my back quickly and faced Bruno

R: sweet Arceus Ugh! Don't scare me like that Bruno!

B: sorry about that Rio...

R: I can't be too mad.. you did give me this sweet rotom.

B: so what do you wanna do?

R: wanna hit up the food court?

B: sure!

I grabbed his hand and pointed over to the food court.

R: better hurry up! Curry sells out quick!

I grabbed his hand and ran as quick as I could until we made it into the line.

It was around 5 minutes before we made it to the front desk.

B: can I get a normal curry bowl?

R: can I take a spicy curry with a side of pecha berry milkshake?

I grabbed Brunos hand and sat him down on the bench.

B: you didn't need to pay... I have money..

R: doesn't matter... Besides don't tell Atticus but I've been sneaking out at night and battling some freaks in the park who try and find sleeping ralts,bunearys, and eevees.... Such freaks.

B: ohh yeah... Bout that..  Rio?

R: yeah?

B: what do you think of that pokeclub over by the park?

R: hate it... Heard there was a pokemon.... S-sex ring..

B: yeah... I told them to stop but they didn't listen...

R: wait what?

B: oh nothing..... Hey uhm... Do you maybe wanna come over to my place?

R: uh sure.. you have Atticus's phone number right?

B: no..

R: hmm.. well he won't worry to much besides I left him a note.

B: well if you say so tiny man.

R: who ya calling tiny?!

B: you!

He got up and ran out the mall. I started to chase after him wondering what would happen today.

I slowly wandered around the forest looking for Atticus who wandered off.

J: Atticus! Atticus where are you!

I stood there looking around for Atticus before hearing a twitch in a bush. I immediately started kicking a pine cone into a ball of flames before kicking it into the direction I heard the noise at.

J: come out of there!

I watched as the bush disintegrated and it revealed a knocked down Atticus laying with a note with a set of coordinates.
