Why Now?

Chapter 4

The three of them opened their eyes and realised that they were falling from the sky. They were quick enough to do spinjitzu to break their fall, which it did, but who's to say it didn't hurt like a bitch.

"Ow.. what the hell. Where are we?" Lloyd looked around to see a snowy plane surrounding them. It wasn't like all the other snowy places they've been too, the surrounding area was covered in a light snow storm that blocked their view.

"Is this.. the Never Realm?" Nya pointed out. They got up and tried to look around them, searching for any sign of Jay or where he could've landed. As they looked around even more, they started to realise something.

"Wait, where's Kai?" Cole was right. Where was he? They tried to find him anywhere near where they first landed but, come to think of it, none of them even saw Kai while they were falling.

Did he not get sent to the Never Realm with them? Or did he just get sent to another place in the Never Realm. Considering the three of them ended in the same spot after briefly being acquainted with God himself, the latter doesn't seem likely.

Nya groaned in frustration, "What does he even want with my brother anyway?? And why the heck did he call him 'princess'?? That was a little creepy not gonna lie." Yeah, they were still hung up with what Morro said. And of all things, why did he call him princess? Or even have a nickname for him for the matter.

"Whatever it is, clearly Jay knows something. So we have to go find him first, if he's anywhere near here." And with that, they continued their search.

They were walking through the snow and came across a few trees which led to a forest area. They looked around the area for any sign of Jay, that's when they heard that all too familiar annoying cry of help.

The three of them followed that racket to its source and low and behold, it was Jay. He was, or at least he tried, fending himself from a pack of wolves.

"H-Heyyy we can talk about this.. right?" The wolves growled at him in return. "C'mon please? I really don't want to hurt you." Ah that was the problem.

"JAY WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? YOU'RE NOT EXACTLY BACKED INTO A CORNER YOU KNOW." Cole got his attention.

"OH uhh hey. Yeah uhh I don't wanna attack them, they're just animals. And plus they look kinda cute." He tried to reason despite the fact that those wolves looked like they were out for blood.

"UHH YEAH, THEY'RE CUTE AND WILL TURN YOU INTO A CUTE CARCES." Slight sarcasm and annoyance laced in Lloyd's voice as he shouted at the blue ninja. "JUST GET OUTTA THERE ALREADY!!!"

With that, Jay started to run like his life depended on it, and well, it did. He stopped when he had reached the three of them and Cole used his powers to hit the ground and cage the wolves with it. Of course he couldn't just leave them there, he'll let them out… eventually.

"Hoo… thanks guys." That was all Jay said before he started yelling. "Also HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DEFEAT MORRO AND TAKE BACK THE STAFF??? AND WHERE IS IT BY THE WAY? SINCE YOU'RE HERE AND ALL. AND WHERE'S KAI???"

They paused for a second. "Jay, what the hell are you talking about? We got teleported here only like a few seconds after you got zapped here by Morro." Lloyd explained.
