I based this group of characters on other styles than the USA in the 1930s. Inkling is older than the others so he is dressed in a more dated style than the rest of the cast. Inkling is in his late fifties so his fashion would have peaked in the mid to late 1900s. I tried my best to base Min on the outfits from China at that time:

Though I am certainly not Chinese so if it is not 100% accurate I am sorry.
I also tried to base Tweak more on the 1920s rather than the 1930s as in my story she is pretty much living in the past. Since she was a flapper in the 20s she's had a hard time fitting in with the "mature" people who grew out of their young person of the 20s faze.
