The city

THE STORY OCCURS AFTER THE EVENTS OF PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH.

Just so you know this isn't canon, this is just my prediction/alternative story for the next Shrek/Puss in Boots movie.

Kitty, Puss, and Perrito get with their boat to the port of Far Far Away (the city), while they're walking down the port Kitty asks Puss a question.

"So how come you've never told me about your old friends?" Kitty asked Puss about his "old friends" out of curiosity since he never mentiond them or talked about them.  

"Well, you never really asked me about my past" Puss replied

"Well with how you were back then I'm quite surprised that you even had some friends" Said Kitty

"Well at least I had some" Puss replied as he got offended

"Aw he roasted you" Said Perrito to Kitty

"Hope they're real and not some imaginary friends that you made up"
Said Kitty as she kept teasing him

"Haha very funny Kitty" Said Puss

"So how are they like?" Kitty answered back

"Yeah how they're like Puss?" Said Perrito

"Well one is called Donkey he is a talking donkey who really likes to talk a lot and never shuts up but is funny though, and the other one is called Shrek who is Ogre. He is strong and most of the time serious but  he is fun to be around with" Puss replied

"What is an Ogre?" Perrito asked Puss

"It is a type of monster species, but don't worry he is not gonna eat you or anything" Said Puss

"And what did you do with them?" Kitty asked Puss, 

"Well we went to lots of adventures together. Fought some enemies, like in our first adventure we fought against his wife's fairy godmother and her son that wanted to rule the kingdom and other time where we had to fight against goblins cause they attacked the city" Said Puss as he remembered his adventures with Shrek and Donkey

"Sounds like you had quite lots of adventures together, even though I'm surprised " Said Kitty 

"Yep those two guys were always fun to be with, lots of great memories we made, we were best friends" Said Puss

Perrito was wondering why did Puss leave such friends that he known for so long, so he asked him.

"If it was always fun with them and you were best friends then why did you leave them?"

 Puss was thinking on how to respond to that question without sounding like a bad friend that left his friends behind.

"Well they both got married with different women and started their own family and had kids"

Right before he finishes his sentence he stops walking and just standing having some flashbacks of the day he left the city, Shrek and Donkey, and some of his other friends like Pinocchio, which he then continues with his answer. 

"And because they started to spend more time with their families they started to have less free time, we could not have go to adventures together anymore, so then I left to find some new adventure"

Perrito and Kitty saw that Puss had a face of regret, which then they felt a bit sad for Puss and looked at each other of which Perrito then tells Puss 

"Well you were lonely and you were bored, so you wanted to try something new and that's ok Puss"

Perrito's response made Puss smile.  

"Well yea I mean if I would not have left the city then I would not have met you, also me and Kitty would not have come back together, you are both my most lovable people in the world" Said Puss to Perrito

which made both Kitty and Perrito smile. 

After some walk and the "Team Freindship" finally reach to the exit of the large port of which they finally see the city. 

"Ah yes the city, the air with all the factories smell , the people, the food and the guards that you can annoy everyday it is been so long since I have been here. brings so much memories even though the city did not change much" Puss said in a excitement

"Hmm the city is more modern and advanced then our towns back in Spain" Kitty said with a surprised voice, 

"Aw I hope to meet your old friends Puss and get new friends" Perrito said in excitment

While they were walking in the central street Kitty felt weird, she couldn't believe with how peaceful this city was since in her whole life she never felt safe in any place or trusted anybody until she met Puss her boyfriend and Perrito.  A random stranger asked her something Kitty felt threatened because of that she pulled her sword, which of course scared the stranger who ran away. Because of that Puss tried to calm Kitty down to not get trouble with the guards.

"Kitty put your sword down it was just a random guy, let's not get into trouble right away with anybody". 

"Yea you are right sorry, it's just I can't believe how peaceful this city is" Kitty said in a apologetically way,

"yea I know same with me" Puss agreed with Kitty. 

When they got to the shopping district Perrito noticed from far away a strangely green figure standing in a line to buy a fruit. 

"Puss isn't that your friend over there?" Perrito asked Puss

Puss then noticed the green figure too, 

"could it be? My old friend" Puss said in his mind.
