shrek 5/ Puss in boots 3

A bad start

As everyone was walking, they suddenly met Leo and his rabbit partner.

"The thief" Shrek said angrily as he remembers him from yesterday

Shrek ran towards Leo, and Leo pulled his sword as he was ready to defend himself but before Shrek got to him Puss stopped him by standing in his way. 

"Wait Shrek noo!!!" shouted Puss to Shrek as he stopped him

"What Puss?" Shrek said angrily to Puss 

"He is good, you do not have to fight him" Puss said 

"What the hell are you talking about Puss? It is the thief that stole my wallet yesterday" Said Shrek as he really wanted to beat up Leo

"I know Shrek but he gave back your wallet, here I can even show it to you" Puss explained to Shrek as he gave him the wallet

"What how? I don't understand" Shrek said in confusion

"I can explain it to you later but right now I need you to calm yourself down" Puss replied to calm Shrek

Shrek took a big breath and was calm while Leo putted his sword back into his belt. Leo approached Shrek to shake hands with him. 

"Hey I am really sorry about what happened yesterday, I admit that it was wrong for me to steal money from you and other innocent citizens, so let's start over" Leo said to Shrek

Shrek hesitated to shake hands with him as he couldn't trust him.

"Come on Shrek I understand your hesitation and I also did at first" Said Puss  

"But sometimes you gotta give people a second chance" Puss continued with his answer as he starred at Perrito 

This made Perrito happy because he told Puss and Kitty this yesterday. Because Shrek saw that everyone including Donkey his best friend expected him to shake hands with Leo he decided to shake hands with him. 

"But promise you will not do any silly things like that ok?" Shrek warned Leo

"Of course, I promise I will not do that ever again" Leo said confidently 

"Good so we are all in good terms then, we better get going" Said Puss

"Wait where are you all going?" Leo asked Puss

"We are going to Shrek's swamp" Perrito said to Leo

"Perrito what are you doing?" Said Puss to Perrito quietly

"What I am telling him about where we are going" Perrito replied

When Perrito wanted to continue with his answer he got an idea.

"Wait let's maybe invite him to go with us on the journey" Said Perrito

Kitty and Puss moved Perrito aside to talk alone.

"Perrito what the hell are you trying to do here?" Kitty asked Perrito

"I want him to join us on our journey what is the problem with that?" Perrito replied

"We've just known him for one day" Said Kitty in a bit of anger

"Kitty is right Perrito, besides it is non of his business to where we going" Said Puss

"But Puss come on maybe we will better know him and his friend" Perrito tried to convince him

"Also Puss you said that you liked adventurers and Leo is also an adventurer" Perrito continued as he reminded Puss about what he said before

"You got a point" Said Puss

"No, he doesn't" Kitty said

"I mean Leo is an adventurer. Besides he even brought back all the money that he stole like how much more does he need to prove that we can trust him?" Said Puss
