Baby Mockingjay 2.0

Now?

I wake up in my district 13 bedroom and stare at the ceiling thinking about if district 12 will ever be the same. Peeta comes through the door and lays beside me for a while when I wince in pain. The second time it comes back stronger the next time when I feel my legs soaking in water. I look over at Peeta and he looks so worried. I nod.

He jumps up from the bed and carries me over to the hospital floor where Prim should be working. He opens the tall cold door and walks into the medicine smelling room. The nurse says for us to go to Room 21 so Peeta carries me there.

The room is full of pictures of babies and balloons. Prim walks in the door and Peeta holds me in bed and does the District 12 test on me. She grabs a needle and pricks my finger blood starts coming out. She tests the blood and the number 10 pops up on the computer screen. She stands up beside me and says," Time to push."

I lift my legs almost over my head and push when I hear a beautiful cry fill the room. Prim says," Girl."

Peeta looks over at me in smiles," Willow?"

"Willow."

I hold our girl in our hands until Peeta asks to hold. Peeta holds her in his strong arms while whispering," I love you baby girl and your mommy."

I smile as Peeta puts Willow back in my arms and he wraps his arms around my back as I lay my head on his shoulder and tell Peeta,"This is our Baby Mockingjay."
