It had been 5 hours since Izuna made that call, and it only made him more anxious as time passed. He was sitting in one of the patient's waiting rooms looking over some documents when the door suddenly opened. Izuna stood up and shook both the parent's hands before sitting back down.

"Hi, glad you could make it Mr. and Mrs. Aburame. Take a seat, please."

Yuki's mom looked down at the stack of papers on the little coffee table and sat down cautiously. His father did the same before I grabbed my notes and tried to break it to them as easily as possible. It was their son after all, and I couldn't even imagine how hard it would be to experience such a thing. "I called you both over today because I wanted to discuss your son's condition. We've run some blood tests as well as some Ekg's, and I'm sorry to say this but there were some abnormalities in heart and blood."

"Like what? What's wrong with our son?" The father looked a bit distressed and Izuna could already smell the Alpha pheromones permeating in the room. All Izuna could describe from it was that it had a sour smell. Izuna knew all too well that it meant the person was distressed, anxious, or scared. "We detected that his white blood cell count is high meaning that something is either attacking his body, or he has some sort of sickness going on. Along with that, the enzymes in his liver are increasing at the moment. All of this is also contributing to issues with his heart, and I'm afraid that his condition is too far progressed to the point that there is nothing we can do. Surgery is too risky and most likely he wouldn't make it past a few hours of it. "

Mrs. Aburame teared up and covered her mouth in shock. Izuna could sense how tense the air was all around. You could take a knife and cut it, but it wouldn't change much. "So, what you're saying is that you're simply giving up on our son?!" Izuna's eyes met the father's eyes and all he could see was pure rage. Being taken aback by the sudden signs of aggression, Izuna kept his guard slightly up. Every parent had a different reaction when it came to hearing news like this, but it was Izuna's first time seeing someone so angry at him for telling them information about their child. "I understand this is hard to take in, but I've stressed all the options I could. His body is too weak to get a heart and liver transplant, and no surgeon is willing to perform such a risky procedure. We have tried to give him the best care, but there is only so much we can do to ensure his well-being. I'm truly sorry-" Izuna couldn't even get the rest of the sentence out as the small table in front of his crashed against the wall behind him and scattered the documents all over the place. Izuna instinctively covered his head and let out a whimper. The wife just stood up and tried to hold her husband back, but he overpowered her easily and shoved her away before grabbing Izuna by the neck and pushing him down on the couch he was sitting on. Izuna let out a strangled cry and tried to fight back, kicking and scratching the man as much as he could. His fingers left bloody scratches causing the other no reaction. Izuna knew all too well that if he didn't get the man off of him, he'd get seriously hurt aside from some simple bruising.

"NO, LET HIM GO!!" The wife got up off the ground and continued to pull the man off, but it seemed as if it was no use. She quickly ran out the door and into the hallway gasping for air. That's when she noticed two doctors walking down the hall talking and comparing medical notes. She quickly ran up to them frantically trying to explain what was going on to which their eyes widened, and they both ran to the waiting room. They burst through the door and saw Mr. Aburame on top of Izuna struggling to overtake and strangling him to death. One of the doctors quickly grabbed the man by his coat and yanked him off of Izuna before pinning him down on the ground. The other quickly looked at Izuna and noticed that he wasn't breathing. His neck had a faint bruise all around it and his arms were limp on the side of his body. He quickly lowered himself to the ground and began CPR. All of this was going on as a crowd of doctors and nurses stood out in the hallway. Most were murmuring while others watched in horror as the lifeless body of a fellow college lay motionless.
