I once lied to you.
You had asked me how you smelled and I wanted to impress you.
I tried to be poetic and say you smelled like a fresh ocean breeze.Honestly it's sad, that I wasn't honest.
The truth is, you smelled like dirt.
Like topsoil after a day of rain.
The smell of growth.I got to experience moments of my favorite smell everytime you brushed against me.
Every kiss was heightened.
Every time you embraced me I could feel it.And when you said you loved me.
I could feel us growing.
