"First of all, you should take into account that our history is centuries old, very old and in some ways unbelievable." Matthew said, Alexander nodded in agreement and continued.
"If it's so old, why haven't I heard anything about them?" Klaus asked himself.
"Legends about us have traveled the world, and changed along the way, even though not many people know about us, our lives are still in danger."
"Who is putting you in danger?" Alaric asked worried.
"Witches, servants of nature for whom we are abominations."Alexander said, rolling his eyes.
"Of course, witches don't know how to stay out of other people's business," Hayley said disapprovingly and Klaus nodded in agreement.
"Somehow it's not surprising." Hope whispered.
"How old is your history?" Alaric.
"3000 years old." Alexander said, looking at the shocked faces of those standing before him.

"Impossible, I would have known if it was." whispered Esther
