Meaning

What is love when you don't know it?
Is it the warm meals your mother prepares when you get home?
Is it the bedtime stories your father read to you when you were young?
Is it the hugs you receive from a friend when you cry?
Is it when your eyes meet for the first time in the halls?
Is it the soft smile he gives you when your hands touch?
Or is it when you hold his hand for him to kiss
yours?
Is it the soothing voice that calms you when you're angry?
Is it him promising you a lifetime together?
Maybe love is when you see him cry as you walk down the altar.

Then again, perhaps love finds its meaning in everything.
