☆~Chapter 5~☆

"So, when does your shift end?" I asked Shuichi as we did our homework together (per my request).

"Eh, I'm I only work from 5:30pm 'til 7pm.. And I only work on Wednesdays." Shuichi replied as he easily kept up the stitching on the sewing homework we were assigned, whilst I was struggling with a simple straight stitch.

"That's not long, but I guess that's because you have other stuff like watching movies!" I nudged Shuichi lightly in a joking manner, yet I had no tone of anything in my voice nor any expression on my face and I was trying not to mess up his perfect and flawless stitches.

"I'm not that much of a movie junkie..!"

"Angie said that when she called you all you talked about was all the cool movies you had gotten while you were over there.."

"Okay fine, you caught me!"

".. It was nice watching movies with all six of us.. Kaito, Angie, Tenko, Kiibo, you and me.."

I stopped sewing for a moment, thinking back to all the times we'd have a sleepover and we'd all sit down in my room to watch one of the many movies Shuichi always brought over, Angie would bring extra blankets for if any of us got cold, Kaito would bring bedtime stories for if any of us couldn't sleep and Kiibo would be bringing over many snacks.. Well.. Before the accident.

I quickly went back to sewing, trying to focus on getting my stitches as straight as possible.

"Maybe you'd work better on a sewing machine than doing hand stitching..!" Shuichi chuckled.

"Oh shut up.." I twitched a smile.

"Oh! you smiled!" Shuichi teased as he stopped stitching.

"Nuh-uh!"

"Yeah-huh!"

"Nope!"

"Yup!"

We stopped joke arguing as soon as we heard footsteps walk over to one of the many studies we had in our house.

"Maki!? Saihara!?" It sounded like my dad..

I sighed and got up as Shuichi did the same, we walked out of the study to see the Head Shitsuji, Head Meido and my father.

"Maki, we ought to have a chat don't we?" My father scowled at me in an attempt to intimidate me, but it didn't work.

"Saihara, your shift ended." The Head Meido said in an emotionless manner.

"O-oh thank you, Meido senpai.." Shuichi bowed to The Head Meido before smiling at me softly in an attempt to say goodbye before walking off to the Shitsuji changing rooms.

It was interesting, yet even a Shitsuji didn't know the Head Meido and the Head Shitsuji's actual names.. Everyone just called them Meido and Shitsuji.. But I've always called them H.M and H.S for short.

Meido and Shitsuji quickly walked off before my father quickly grabbed me by my wrist, dragging me over to his study. I already knew my mother had probably told him what I had said, he also knew what happened in the restaurant so he had all the more reason to give me a talking to, he had all the more reason to ground me and lock me in my room.

This was going to be a long and wild ride to explain..
