☆~Chapter 9~☆

"Akamatsu.. What song is this..?" I asked raising an eyebrow at the song the was picking out.

"Hmm.. How about.. NXDE by G-idle?" Akamatsu looked at me with stars in her eyes.

"I'm not really into k-pop.. and plus I don't know Korean, if you want to do a k-pop duet, I suggest doing one with Shuichi." I sighed as Akamatsu went back to picking a song.

"Fine.. What about.. Liquid Smooth by Mitski?"

"I like Mitski, but I'm not really in the mood for her right now.. Sorry.."

"It's fine! I don't mind, I'd like to see your music taste! So you can pick one!" Akamatsu stood to the side of the tablet.

"I actually haven't heard the kind of music Makiroll listens to.." Kaito thought  aloud before I shot him a glare.

I sighed and went over to the song tablet, what was that musical called again..? Oh right..

"Would you like to be the female role or the male role? I'm fine with either." I said to Akamatsu punching in the letters of the song name.

"I'll go with the female part!" Akamatsu smiled cheerfully. "What song are we doing?"

"Do you know the musical Heather's?" I asked turning on my microphone.

"Yeah, why?"

"We're doing Seventeen."

I watched everyone in the rooms face go from curiosity to shock and surpise, and I felt a pit in my stomach.. The song was ambitious but maybe I could do it..! I felt myself shake and my palms start to sweat..

As me and Akamatsu did the final line, I felt the pit in my stomach go away, yet I was still shaking from before, my palms were still sweaty and my legs felt weak.. But atleast I did it, I guess..?

I heard an applaud come from our friend group as we sat down.

"Your voices sounded so good together, Akamatsu and Harukawa!" Chabashira exclaimed cheerfully with stars in her eyes as she hugged Akamatsu.

"Atua and I agree with Tenko! Harukawa and Akamatsu should become idols together!~" Yonaga said in a sing-song voice.

"I'm not so sure about that.." I mumbled before a phone began to ring.

I looked inside my bag and quickly ran outside of the restaurant to answer the call, Akamatsu followed, probably to make sure I was safe..

The person calling me was my father, I reluctantly answered and put it on speaker.

"MAKI HARUKAWA, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?" I heard my father bark through the phone, it was loud enough to be like a scene in one of those animes where the character is so loud that it looks like wind in blowing into the other characters face.

I was about speak before Akamatsu hushed me and whispered to me so that only I could hear.

"I've got an idea, will you go along with it?" Akamatsu whispered mischievously.

"Sure.." I whispered suspiciously.

Akamatsu then began to speak.

"Hello?~" Akamatsu spoke in a cheery tone that was a slightly higher pitch than the voice she spoke in.

"AKAMATSU!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY DAUGHTER!?" My father screamed.

"Your daughter?~ oh!~ you mean Maki chan?~" I began to blush after hearing Akamatsu say my first name, to which she smiled and pinched my cheek softly before listening to my father's response.

"YES MAKI, YOU PIECE OF SHIT! NOW WHERE IS SHE!?"

"Where's Maki chan?~ I dunno.. Where are you Maki chan?~" Akamatsu was acting like a dumb blonde, I couldn't say it wasn't funny before Akamatsu whispered in my ear. "Please forgive me.."

Before I could inquire, Akamatsu pushed me up to a wall and made sure the phone speaker was close to my mouth before pressing her lips onto my neck.
