hi... So it's been a while... I've been rlly busy with getting ready 4 highschool and my other fics. So after this chapter it will be put on an indefinite hiatus.

We continued walking up the street to the burger place before Akamatsu stopped with a grin.

"We're here!" Akamatsu pointed at the sign.

"... 'The Great Burger'? How original..." I mumbled sarcastically as I rolled my eyes.

"Come on! Don't be a party pooper!" Akamatsu pouted as she crossed her arms.

"I will do as I please." I sighed. "Do you want to go in or not?"

Akamatsu grinned as she grabbed my arm and pulled me inside, I groaned in annoyance.

"Akamatsu, you've got to stop doing that!" I exclaimed as Akamatsu stopped at the counter to order.

"Welcome to The Great Burger, how may I help you?" The employee asked.

"Hi, could I have a chicken burger?" Akamatsu spoke with a wide and bright grin, then turned to me. "What would you like, Harukawa-chan?"

"Uh, I'll take the same." I awkwardly looked away to see crowds of people who had stopped eating to stare at us... Just like in the ramen restaurant...

"... Alright, would you two like anything else?" The employee asked.

Akamatsu nudged me roughly, when I looked at her she pointed to the worker... It was Kaito!

"Kaito!?" I exclaimed in shock as Kaito and Akamatsu laughed.

"Hey Maki-roll! I didn't expect to see you and Akamatsu hanging out!" Kaito grinned just as wide as Akamatsu.

"Mmph... Why're you skipping school?" I crossed my arms as I spoke, Kaito froze up.

"Er... You know, my manager really likes giving me hours!" Kaito awkwardly chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"So, this is where you are during most of your 'sick days'?" I snarled.

"Harukawa-chan! Be nice! Kaito's your friend!" Akamatsu gave me a sad look.

"I don't need a lesson on friendship." I sighed, rolling my eyes. "Look Kaito, I'll let you off this once. You need to talk with your manager about your hours, though."

Kaito nodded as Akamatsu sighed.

"Would you two also like some drinks?" Kaito asked.

"I'll take a cola." I said blankly.

"I'll take a sprite!" Akamatsu exclaimed cheerfully.

"Alright... That will be... $28.99!" Kaito smiled.

Akamatsu paid before we sat down at a table near the window.

"I can't believe you were so rude to Kaito! Kaito's your crush!" Akamatsu whispered.

"I wasn't rude, that's just the way we roll." I shrugged.

"'The way you roll'? Seriously? Harukawa-chan, you can't just run around being rude to people and then just respond with 'that's just the way we roll'!" Akamatsu sighed, the volume of her voice going back to normal.

I went silent as I crossed my leg over the other and uncrossed my arms.

"What's your problem, Harukawa-chan?"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, what's your problem?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Why are you so blank? So... Angry? So... Emotionless..."

"I dunno." I shrugged. " It's not even really your business anyways..."

"True, I guess... Could've said that in a nicer way, though..." 

"Eh, maybe..."

"Apologies for prying, Harukawa-chan..." Akamatsu giggled nervously.

"All good." I shrugged as our food came over, Akamatsu thanked the server before we began to eat.

"Oooo!~ This is sooooo good!" Akamatsu grinned as she took another big bite out of her burger.

"Akamatsu, calm down! If you keep eating so fast you're going to get the hiccups or a tummy ache!" I sighed as I also took a bite out of my burger, my bite wasn't as big as Akamatu's, though.

I did have to agree with Akamatsu, though... These burgers really were good! Maybe their unoriginal name: 'The Great Burger', really was deserved after all...

Soon, we finished our food, I still had some leftovers but it was only a couple fries that I didn't eat... Fries weren't really my jam... I glanced over at Akamatsu, who's food was all gone and now she was hiccuping.

"I warned you." I sighed, Akamatsu hiccuped with a grin in response.

"Worth it." Akamatsu's grin widened.

"Should we go somewhere else now?" I asked, changing the topic from the amazing food we had just eaten.

Akamatsu put a finger to her chin in thought. I couldn't help but gaze at Akamatsu... She was just so pretty with her long, golden locks with her beautiful pink eyes, and her clear skin. I felt jealous... It was like she didn't have to work hard at all to be as beautiful as she was... I still had acne on my forehead and some on my cheeks, I always had to cover it with concealer, but I wasn't very good at makeup, so it wasn't like it did anything.

"Perhaps we could get ice cream?" Akamastu asked, snapping me out of my admiring trance.

"Oh, uhm... Sure." I nodded before we both got up and left the restaurant.
