☆~Chapter 7~☆

I sighed, I was just overthinking it, there was no way she did that on purpose..

I began to look up 'sewing for beginners', following the instructions, but messing up way too many times for my liking. I sighed once more, normally I'd go walk outside for a while to take my mind off things and cool off but I was stuck in my room on the second floor.. Wait, why was I obeying my father when everyone knew full well that I could just easily jump out of the window?

I got up, put on a coat overtop of my uniform which I hadn't changed out of, packed a purse with money, my phone, perfume and lip balm before I grabbed some shoes from my dresser and walked over to the window. I opened the curtains of my window before opening the window itself and jumping out, still holding onto the edge of the window sill so then I didn't fall and break my legs. I shifted my body over to the pipes, sliding down them, they'd need replacing sooner or later but whatever..

I quickly jumped over the fence before anybody could notice, I ran down the street and into a nearby alleyway. I panted like a dog, catching my breath, normally I wouldn't be sitting here panting like a dog after such little running but I felt a rush of blood in my veins as I ran, causing me to use more energy than usual.

I started walking through the alley, letting the crickets sing loudly, I would've brought my headphones but I needed to clear my head more than anything.. I heard my stomach grumble, I sighed and changed my direction from a nearby street to the nearby small town.. Maybe I could take a bus to that ramen place Akamatsu showed me..? Yeah, I'll do that..

I walked over to the bus stop to wait for the bus before one quickly pulled up and I got on.

I watched everyone's face turn from literally anything to pure shock as I got on and sat down on a chair nearby the doors, I tried not to pay attention as I looked out the window, staring up at the starry night sky, it really reminded me of Kaito.. I sighed in my head, of course the starry night sky reminded me of him, that idiot wanted to become an astronaut..

It seemed to me we had pulled to a stop pretty quickly, but I had just seemed lost in my thoughts for so long that I must've zoned out.. The while point of this trip was to grab a snack and clear my head, yet all I could do was think..

I got off the bus and started walking as fast as I could to the ramen place Akamatsu had showed me.. What was the name again..? Ah right, Yoroiya Ramen..

To my surprise, the ramen place was still wide open even though it was 8:30pm..

I opened the doors, hearing the bell ring as I stepped inside, walking up to the counter and a worker walking up to the register.

"Excuse me, could I-" I began before getting rudely interrupted.

"Kaede Akamatsu has a private room, down to the left." The worker sighed before walking to the back.

I grumbled in annoyance, but since Akamatsu was here.. I could say hi..

I walked down the left hallway where only one private room stood as I knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I heard a cheery voice come from behind the door.

I opened the door to see Akamatsu sitting down with a bowl of ramen, and beside her was... Tenko, Shuichi, Kaito, Angie and Kiibo.. They.. They were hanging out without me!?

"H-Harukawa chan!" Akamatsu stared at me in shock while I just stood there, I didn't have an expression on my face but deep down on the inside, something really hurt..

"The worker wouldn't serve me, just said you were here and I thought I'd say hi." I looked over to my other 'friends' and glared at them.

"Well, since you're here, why don't you join us?" Akamatsu smiled, trying to encourage me to join in and conceal the shock on the others faces.

"No need, I've just realized I'm not hungry."

"We're also doing karaoke!"

"Not interested." I glared at the others one more time before leaving.

I walked out of the ramen store and down a nearby alley to sit and calm down, my insides hurt, it felt like something was rushing and pushing out my eyes but yet nothing came out. My breathing pattern was wonky, so I used a calming breathing technique.. I'd grab some food later.. For now I was just gonna sit here for a while..

Well, atleast that's what I thought before I saw Akamatsu running and stopping at the alleyway where I sat.

"Harukawa chan! There you are!" She panted as she sat next to me. "Is everything okay? I kind of noticed you lost your cool and you kept glaring at everyone.."

I stayed silent, still trying to get the my breathing pattern back into shape.

"We're you upset that we didn't invite you..?" Akamatsu asked, putting her hand on top of mine in a caring manner.

I hesitated for a moment before nodding.. Jeez I was pathetic..

"We didn't mean to, Saihara just said that you had probably been grounded.. So we thought that meant you wouldn't be able to go out.." Akamatsu reassured me.

"I am grounded, I just.. I just decided to go out and get some fresh air and some food." I stated as calmly as I could.

"Did you not eat any dinner?"

"Wasn't allowed."

"Well, come on back inside, I'll share my ramen with you!"

".. It's fine, don't worry about me, just go back and have fun."

"Harukawa chan, I'm not just going to go off and have fun and not think of you!"

I felt my heart skip a beat.. Wait.. What..?
