"So it's only a few days..but i can trust you with the house..right?!"
Minah asked her kids who are now assembled in the living room,to send them off for their weekend trip.
"We will be fine mom ..don't worry " Joon answered putting an arm around her.
Minah gave a proud smile and patted her son's cheek
"I know about you and kookie but i m not sure about this one here..look at that grin.. " she looked towards a smiley Taehyung who was leaning on the wall .
Namjoon laughed.."i wont let him do anything bad"

"Do you really have to go."
Jungkook asked his doe eyes getting wider
"Aww..atleast one of them cares..yes honey aunty Lin is mom's childhood friend and she is finally getting married.,to that asshole boyfriend of hers..gosh!! She sighed
"Sweetheart..language" Haneyol called her with big eyes
"Yeah..sorry..but i m okay with it..i wont say anything..her life her choices..who cares if he is a man wh.."
"Minah..."haneyol cried out
"What?! I was not going to say it.."
Haneyol shook his head in disbelief .
Tae and Namjoon suppresed their laugh
"And she wonders were i get my sass from " Taehyung mumbled.
"I heard that.."she rolled her eyes at her son

"Anyways.." Haneyol changed the topic " Dont worry kookie we will be back monday afternoon "
"But it will be night soon dad..why can't you go tommorow morning "
They knew he had a fear of them driving at night..like he was afraid of history repeating.
" we promise we will be safe honey..don't worry,we have rehersal dinner and stuff to attened so we can't go in morning" Minah said
Jungkook nodded pursing his lips.
Taehyung put an arm around Jungkook and held him tight
" They will be fine ..don't worry" he assured

"Ok then take care my babies And don't burn down the house Tae" Minah said to lighten the mood.
"I ll try mom.."tae waved his hands
Minah gasped and waved them goodbye as they headed out.

Once their car was out of sight Tae jumped..
"Yayy..finally we get the house to ourselves ...what are we doing?!"
Jungkook and Namjoon looked at eachother and then at Tae
"Nothing..we are ordering food and going to bed after that." Namjoon said
"But it's Saturday tommorow hyung"
Namjoon ignored Taehyung and went back to the book he was reading and Kook shrugged and went to watch tv.
" ..ahhh you guys are no fun..can we atleast call your friends here"
"No ..they are busy and i know you just want to see Yoongi..so big no.." Namjoon said while putting on his glasses.
"When did you get so boringgggg...And by the way Yoongi and me chats everyday now" he mocked a smile at his brother.
"We are going out with them tomorrow , so lets just take it easy today..and i know you are friends with him." Namjoon said side eyeing Jungkook
" kookie you snitch!" he glared at Jungkook
"I ..Taetae.." Jungkook began to talk but Tae cut him off
"Seriously dont even bother to lie..i know you guys are way too chummy these days..i m gonna go play video games .You boring people do whatever you want" he scoffed and stomped his way up to the room ignoring Jungkook who was about to defend himself

A few hours passed since their parent's departure and Namjoon was still immersed in reading his book, and Jungkook started and stopped multiple movies mid way, he couldn't concentrate on anything as he kept staring at Namjoon in between ,he didn't knew why but he loved to watch Namjoon sometimes..how his face looks when he is concentrating on something, and how he just casually lies down on the couch to read his book , his fingers unconsciously running through the beautiful platinum hair.
Namjoon felt Jungkooks eyes on him
" I know that you are staring at me"
Jungkook panicked a bit and went back to surfing through tv cursing himself for staring at Joon once again.
Joon smiled and closed the book and sat up

" do you want to talk ? "Namjoon asked looking at the younger resting his head on his palms.
"No" he shook his head without looking at him.

He saw that Jungkook was getting red and flustered and he found it cute and decided not to tease him

"What do you want to eat, we can order something for dinner"
Jungkook thought for a moment before speaking
"I was thinking if i can cook something "
"Ohh...if you want to..but I don't know if i will be of any help..i suck at cooking "
"Its ok i can manage hyung" he smiled

After a while they both were at the kitchen . Jungkook was cutting meat and vegetables for their dinner while Namjoon stood silently watching how Jungkook moved around in the kitchen with ease.
"I didn't know that you cooked.."
"I used to cook a lot.My dad he taught me..he loved to cook.I couldn't bring myself to do it after ..you know..but i felt like it today.." Kookie said sadness creeping up on his face.

Namjoon always admired how well Jungkook adapted to the new settings of his life, but he always wondered if someone young as him would recover from trauma like that,in such a short period,.And lately Jungkook and him progressed a lot in terms of their friendship,he slowly started to open up to the elder and Jungkook talking about his struggles and experiences made him feel more closer to the younger.when they studied together he sometimes talked about his time together with his parents, how they met and got married and how he was so much like his mom.. they didn't have a relationship like the one he had with Taehyung but namjoon enjoyed knowing about him more even if it was in a slow pace..and it made Namjoon wonder if he could someday talk about his past to the younger too..

"Can i try.."Namjoon asked pointing the chopping board.
Jungkook looked at him with a bit of fear in his face, he knew Namjoon was the most clumsy person he has ever seen..and him handling a knife was ..well kind of dangerous , but he didn't want to discourage him
" Be careful hyung" he gave the knife to Joon
Namjoon took the knife and tried cutting the vegetables but eneded up dropping everything and slipping the knife multiple times

"Hyung not like that.." Jungkook kept his hands over Namjoon's large hands and guided him on cutting a carrot "
"Like this ..even pieces ..or they wont cook properly. And you will end up cutting your finger if you slip so much. Hold the knife firmly like this " he guided him
Joon stared at the yonger who had a smile in his face and was explaining him the cutting techniques with full interest. He did that adorable nose scrunch while talking which namjoon loved .
"Has anyone told you that you look like a bunny" Namjoon asked smiling softly.
Jungkook looked at the elder looked up confused
"Bunny?"
"Yeah.."
Jungkook shook his head  saying no, a small smile appearing on his lips.
"You are cute kookie" Namjoon said looking at the younger.
Jungkooks face became red suddenly and he blushed
"Hyung.."
"What.. can't I call you cute?!"
"No.. its making me embarrassed.." his face started getting even more red and he started adjusting his hair to avoid looking at Namjoon.

"God here i thought your smile was beautiful..you look way cuter when you blush.."Namjoon said looking at him with adoration and smiling , his dimples making an appearance.
Jungkook coughed to hide his blush
"Says the man with cute dimples" Jungkook said softly still not looking at Joon's face.
" So you like my dimples!! What else do you like.." Namjoon asked biting his lower lips and staring at the blushing younger.
"So carrot..concentrate on the carrots.." he directed namjoon back to the chopping board to change the topic.
" Yeah right..carrots " Namjoon laughed and continued his work .

Taehyung stood outside the kitchen watching the interaction between his brother and his best friend with a blank expression .He came down to call Jungkook to ask him to play video games with him but now he didn't know what to do.
He slowly went back upstairs without making a noise . As soon as he reached his room he closed the door and took out his phone and called a number
The phone rang for a few moments then a deep voice answered
"Hello"
"Can we talk hyung"
