You give up on finding Nam-ra. It was pointless. She won't agree to come with you anyway. You all join the group and continue walking. Su-hyeok had your hand in his keeping a tight grip making sure you don't pull what Nam-ra did. The sun was now up more making it easier to see as you walked along a railway. You saw soldiers all point there guns at you all

"Come on." Mi-jin pants. You all slowly put your hands up. Su-hyeok letting go of your hand but linking your arm in his as you both raise your hands staring at the soldiers. They all start approaching slowly everyone in your group had a pained emotion on there face remembering someone important that they'd lost. Though, your eyes held no emotion.

You walked through a small dim lighted corridor holding medical supplies and belongings. Everyone grimaced at the smell and the sight of the corridors. It was like a prison.

You all sat in a room. Ha-ri was first up. Sitting on a chair ready for questioning as you all sat back hearing the conversation between the two females. Everyones eyes were on the floor staring at anything but the people

"Do you know the teacher, Lee Byeong-chan?" The women on the other side of the glass questioned with a mic

"I only took morning classes, because I had training. So no, I don't." Ha-ri answers bluntly

Mi-jin's turn

"Did he ever say, or do anything out of the ordinary in the past?" The woman questions

"That's not important at all right now. Listen, i'm a senior. I wanna go to collage." Mi-jin states leaning forward

Hyo-ryung's turn

"If there's anything you wanna say, just say it." The woman urges impatiently. She didn't say anything. A singular tear ran down her face

Dae-su's turn

"What...how many times do I have to tell you? He kidnapped a kid from our class named Hyeon-ju." Dae-su exclaims

Su-hyeok's turn

"I heard he gave Hyeon-ju some sort of injection." The woman states. You slightly glance to see Su-hyeok in a different top but with the same blazer. His top was black.

"Why...Why did you leave us there? You abandoned us." Su-hyeok states making everyone perk there heads up

On-jo's turn

"If you cooperate with our investigation—" The woman starts

"No. I won't ask adults for anything...ever again in my life. So, please...don't ask for my cooperation." On-jo states

Your turn

"Ah, Y/n L/n. Glad to see a familiar face. I know y—" The woman starts as you sat down with a cold expression

"I want to speak to my Father." You interrupt her

"Could you first tel—" She tries again

"Now." You order sternly as your eyes narrow into a cold glare. She nods her head with cold sweat running down her forehead. Even though there was a barrier separating you both, she still felt threatened. She walked off as you tapped your finger onto the small desk in front of you. A familiar male face appears with a stern look as he sits down in the seat the woman originally sat on

"L/n. I see you survived." Your father speaks. His voice is like a hammer to the skull though you remain to keep your temper in check

"I did. Even though you decided to start bombing an area, you knew I was in." You snap at him. A grin appears on his face

"You've certainly gotten more confident to speak to your father like that." He chuckles stroking his chin.

"We can meet face to face and i'll show you how confident I got. How does that sound, father?" You suggest bitterly. You narrow your eyes piercing through your Dad's eyes. Challenging him to a glare contest of some sorts. He sighs breaking eye contact. Normally you'd be the first to break. Who knew surviving a zombie apocalypse can change someone completely

"Y/n, I don't have time for you. Tell me—" He moves on

"No. This is your fault." You interrupt him. Pinning the blame on him seemed to anger him as he stood up with pace from his chair and slammed his fist into the glass that separated you both shattering it. Only bars stopped you from reaching each other. You tsked glaring at the bars. You also stood up as the group stared

"If I recall correctly...daughter. It was your job to look after Sakae...where is she?" He taunts with a grin as your eyes widen.

"Y/n?" You hear a familiar voice say beside you. You turn your head to see Kai. His eyes in pure shock hearing what your Father said.

"...Fuck." You whisper looking down. Kai looked around for Sakae to realise she really wasn't there. Your body tensed feeling his gaze back on you. But everything happened so fast a loud bang was heard and you looked up to see Kai with a pistol aimed at your father and your father with a hole through his skull. He fell to the ground lifeless. Your ears ringing from the bullet that was just shot in your fathers head

"I should've let you do that..." Kai chuckled as you looked at him seeing tears stream down his face

"I failed to keep the promise. Why did you...?" You mumble furrowing your brows. Tears now leaving your eyes

"He left her. If it wasn't for him she would be alive right now. You didn't fail. You're a teenager, Y/n. You can't save everyone." Kai assures. Two people came storming into the room grabbing Kai harshly making him drop the gun

"No, wait! Get off him!" You shout running to help him. You were pushed to the ground harshly, smashing your head against the concrete knocking you out cold

~🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♂️~

It's been a couple months since that incident. Kai had to do time for murder but to be honest. He never regretted it. He may of been the only family you had left to rely on but it was so worth it. Seeing that lifeless look on the assholes face. You may sound psychotic but you'd replay that moment in your head every damn day. It filled you with joy seeing the one that once caused you to be in pain now in immense pain, being sent to hell.

You were happy again. It took a while but Su-hyeok stayed by your side throughout out your mood swings and changes. Everything was perfect. You also managed to speak to Nam-ra once on the rooftop with the group. You had one last bonfire before she left saying there was more like her.

You watched her jump off the rooftop with a heartedly smile. Su-hyeok had his arm wrapped around you.

"I love you, Y/n." He whispers into your ear while kissing your cheek. You turn your head to him and your smile grew

"I love you too, Su-hyeok." You honestly reply. His heart skips a beat as he catches your lips in a passionate kiss
