In pre independence era 1920's in bengal.....Anirudh roy choudhury and bondita das were childhood sweethearts......both were from neighbouring villages Tulsipur and krishnanagar..... their families were like family..... their fathers were best friends...... they all were like big family...... Anirudh wanted to became a barrister...... Bondita wanted to become a doctor........... anirudh and bondita completed their schooling together......Anirudh wanted to go to London for higher studies and wanted Bondita to accompany him......but Bondita's thakuma was against it......she kept condition in front of her that if she wants to complete her study she will not go London......she agreed because she can't go against her...... first Anirudh was not ready to leave her but she convinced him.......he went to London for 7 years.......
