February 14, Valentine's Day. The day Angel despised. Shocking right? As a porn actor & prostitute, wouldn't one think Valentine's Day was an excellent holiday for someone who's entire afterlife was based off of lust? Wrong. Angel despised Valentine's Day and for good reason.

Angel Dust hated Valentine's Day because he wanted the love and lust part of the holiday, not just the lust part. Angel wanted to feel the love not just have to fuck sinner after sinner who didn't have a partner to go to for the night.

To whoever was above, Angel both thanked and said 'fuck you' because for once, on Valentine's Day, Angel had a day off. Valentino happened to have a date with his 'beloved' Voxxy. Angel knew Vox and Val's relationship wasn't picture perfect and he had to make a mental note to thank the media overlord. Satan knows how much Shit Valentino was gonna put Vox through tonight.

Why Angel was planning on thanking Vox? Well to put it simply, Angel had complained to the media overlord when Valentino had left the spider with Vox for the day to 'teach Angel-Cakes here a lesson Voxxy, he fucked up real bad this time.' Those were the exact words Valentino had told Vox when he'd dropped the spider off in the media overlord's office a few days ago.

To put it in simpler words. Angel had an attitude that morning because he was annoyed with a rather persistent client. This pissed Val off and made the overlord of lust have to teach his 'number one gal' a lesson. With Angel's little attitude he hadn't given his boss the reaction the retched moth wanted so ultimately Valentino ended up shoving Angel into Vox's office. What Valentino didn't know was the fact that, despite putting up a show around the 'boss man' the spider and the media overlord had a decent friendship going. Sure they still had to act like they absolutely hated each other when Val was around, but when he wasn't? Yeah they're act was thrown off completely and Vox even gave the arachnid comfort.

Angel could recall this particular day clear as rain. When he's gotten shoved into Vox's office by Valentino, and once the moth had left, Vox had almost immediately asked.

"The hell did you do to make him that mad? I haven't seen him that ticked off since you tried to escape Angie."

"Gave 'im attitude, didn't give 'im the reaction he wanted when he 'taught me a lesson.' Dumb move I know but I couldn't help it. Valentine's is in a few days 'n he always makes me work overtime on Valentine's, I just wanna be able to relax for the holiday for once. 'N 't top it off, Vaggie 'n Charlie are all lovey dovey 'n shit, Husky's been lovey with one 'a the newer sinners who started tryin' out the whole redemption shit, 'n Alastor? Well he's just been himself which is real annoyin' I just need a goddamn break Voxxy."

That was the words that led to Vox pulling an impromptu Valentine's date outta his ass to distract Valentino and let Angel have the day to himself. Angel both hated and appreciated Vox's actions. The spider hated them because not having work to do allowed his mind to wander and his mind wandering on such a holiday always resulted in Angel feeling sorry for himself and depressed since he didn't have anyone to spend it with. Sure he could've went to Cherri, spent the day with his platonic soulmate, but she had a date with her new girlfriend and Angel didn't wanna ruin that for her.

In the end the free day resulted in Angel hanging around in the hotel's lobby watching shitty romcoms on his laptop sipping on some fruity ass drink Husk had made for him.
