One month and two days since they'd last spoken or seen each other. It was bound to drive them both insane. Hayley was trying to move on, she couldn't stay miserable forever. Gerard didn't want her, that part seemed obvious. He'd ignored her calls for so long that she eventually stopped calling. Maybe this was for the best.
