Gerard sat outside the bar with a beer in his hand, his clothes were grimy and smelly, his hair hung in knotted mats around his face. Tomorrow. Tomorrow was a day he didnt want to see. It would mark the one year anniversary of his wife and their daughters death. He drowned his sorrows at the expence of his liver. If things went as planned, he would sit here and drink until tomorrow morning and then drag himself to their graves. They shouldnt be dead, its not fair. They were beautiful, perfect and innocent. God had no right. There is no god.

Throwing his empty bottle across the street, Gee got up and went back into the bar. The bartender simply sat the beer bottles in front of him, without either of them saying a word. He and Gerard had a system, Gerard would get his beer with no questions asked, and the bartender would get $100 at the end of the night. Gerard did not talk. Ever. Thats how it worked. Bottoms up. Gerard smirked, downing another beer. The cold liquid burning his throat. Tonight, he would drink.
