Arriving back home felt different to Trixie as she pulled open the door, hoping her mother wouldn't be too mad that she'd disappeared. In her defence, she left her a note telling her she was going to do something, nothing else detailed. Silently, she slipped off her shoes and pressed them by the door, continuing on into the house. It felt good to be back home and she couldn't wait to have a bath and wipe off this dried blood from her skin.
